- A fool’s anger is known at once,
But a prudent person conceals dishonor. - House and wealth are an inheritance from fathers,
But a prudent wife is from the Lord. - A prudent person sees evil and hides himself;
But the naive proceed, and pay the penalty. - A fool rejects his father’s discipline,
But he who complies with rebuke is sensible. - When there are many words, wrongdoing is unavoidable,
But one who restrains his lips is wise. - Even a fool, when he keeps silent, is considered wise;
When he closes his lips, he is considered prudent. - Whoever is wise, let him understand these things;
Whoever is discerning, let him know them.
For the ways of the Lord are right,
And the righteous will walk in them,
But wrongdoers will stumble in them.
You will be enriched in everything for all liberality, which through us is producing thanksgiving to God.
