- A fool’s wrath is known at once,
But a prudent man covers shame. - Houses and riches are an inheritance from fathers,
But a prudent wife is from the Lord. - A prudent man foresees evil and hides himself;
The simple pass on and are punished. - A fool despises his father’s instruction,
But he who receives correction is prudent. - In the multitude of words sin is not lacking,
But he who restrains his lips is wise. - Who is wise?
Let him understand these things.
Who is prudent?
Let him know them.
For the ways of the Lord are right;
The righteous walk in them,
But transgressors stumble in them.
With all lowliness and gentleness, with longsuffering, bearing with one another in love. And I give them eternal life, and they shall never perish; neither shall anyone snatch them out of My hand. My Father, who has given them to Me, is greater than all; and no one is able to snatch them out of My Father’s hand. I and My Father are one.Next verse!With image
