I will say to the Lord, “My refuge and my fortress,
My God, in whom I trust!” - He will cover you with His pinions,
And under His wings you may take refuge;
His faithfulness is a shield and wall. - If I should say, “My foot has slipped,”
Your faithfulness, Lord, will support me. - When my anxious thoughts multiply within me,
Your comfort delights my soul. - Come, let’s worship and bow down,
Let’s kneel before the Lord our Maker. - Hate evil, you who love the Lord,
Who watches over the souls of His godly ones;
He saves them from the hand of the wicked. - Bless the Lord, my soul,
And all that is within me, bless His holy name. - The Lord is compassionate and gracious,
Slow to anger and abounding in mercy. - As far as the east is from the west,
So far has He removed our wrongdoings from us. - Just as a father has compassion on his children,
So the Lord has compassion on those who fear Him. - But the mercy of the Lord is from everlasting to everlasting for those who fear Him,
And His justice to the children’s children,
To those who keep His covenant
And remember His precepts, so as to do them. - I will sing to the Lord as long as I live;
I will sing praise to my God while I have my being. - Give thanks to the Lord, call upon His name;
Make His deeds known among the peoples. - Seek the Lord and His strength;
Seek His face continually. - For He has satisfied the thirsty soul,
And He has filled the hungry soul with what is good.
