Chinese (traditional)Bible Verses about 'Pursue'
- Turn from evil and do good;
seek peace and pursue it. - But you, man of God, flee from all this, and pursue righteousness, godliness, faith, love, endurance and gentleness.
- Flee the evil desires of youth and pursue righteousness, faith, love and peace, along with those who call on the Lord out of a pure heart.
- My times are in your hands;
deliver me from the hands of my enemies,
from those who pursue me. - For, “Whoever would love life
and see good days
must keep their tongue from evil
and their lips from deceitful speech.
They must turn from evil and do good;
they must seek peace and pursue it.” - Whoever pursues righteousness and love
finds life, prosperity and honor. - Make every effort to live in peace with everyone and to be holy; without holiness no one will see the Lord.
- Learn to do right; seek justice.
Defend the oppressed.
Take up the cause of the fatherless;
plead the case of the widow. - Make sure that nobody pays back wrong for wrong, but always strive to do what is good for each other and for everyone else.
- Surely your goodness and love will follow me
all the days of my life,
and I will dwell in the house of the Lord
forever. - Whoever walks in integrity walks securely,
but whoever takes crooked paths will be found out. - “If you keep your feet from breaking the Sabbath
and from doing as you please on my holy day,
if you call the Sabbath a delight
and the Lord’s holy day honorable,
and if you honor it by not going your own way
and not doing as you please or speaking idle words,
then you will find your joy in the Lord,
and I will cause you to ride in triumph on the heights of the land
and to feast on the inheritance of your father Jacob.”
For the mouth of the Lord has spoken.
The Lord will rescue me from every evil attack and will bring me safely to his heavenly kingdom. To him be glory for ever and ever. Amen. So we say with confidence,
“The Lord is my helper; I will not be afraid.
What can mere mortals do to me?”Next verse!With image
