| The hands of the diligent ones shall rule, but laziness ends in slave labor. | The hand of the diligent shall bear rule: but the slothful shall be under tribute. |

| Why are you in despair, my soul? Why are you disturbed within me? Hope in God! For I shall still praise him, the saving help of my countenance, and my God. | Why art thou cast down, O my soul? and why art thou disquieted within me? hope thou in God: for I shall yet praise him, who is the health of my countenance, and my God. |
| Every word of God is flawless. He is a shield to those who take refuge in him. | Every word of God is pure: he is a shield unto them that put their trust in him. |

| He has made everything beautiful in its time. | Give, and it will be given to you: good measure, pressed down, shaken together, and running over, will be given to you. | And hope doesn’t disappoint us, because God’s love has been poured into our hearts through the Holy Spirit who was given to us. | And hope maketh not ashamed; because the love of God is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost which is given unto us. |
| Cause me to hear your loving kindness in the morning, for I trust in you. | Let your loving kindness be on us, Yahweh, since we have hoped in you. | Let thy mercy, O Lord, be upon us, according as we hope in thee. |
