- Put away from thee a froward mouth,
and perverse lips put far from thee. - What time I am afraid, I will trust in thee.
- Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.
- And they stripped him, and put on him a scarlet robe. And when they had platted a crown of thorns, they put it upon his head, and a reed in his right hand: and they bowed the knee before him, and mocked him, saying, Hail, King of the Jews!
- And I will put my spirit within you, and cause you to walk in my statutes, and ye shall keep my judgments, and do them.
- And above all these things put on charity, which is the bond of perfectness.
- In thee, O Lord, do I put my trust;
let me never be ashamed:
deliver me in thy righteousness. - But put ye on the Lord Jesus Christ, and make not provision for the flesh, to fulfil the lusts thereof.
- Lie not one to another, seeing that ye have put off the old man with his deeds; And have put on the new man, which is renewed in knowledge after the image of him that created him.
- For the scripture saith, Whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed.
- It is better to trust in the Lord
than to put confidence in man. - Preserve me, O God:
for in thee do I put my trust. - Now therefore put away, said he, the strange gods which are among you, and incline your heart unto the Lord God of Israel.
- Put on therefore, as the elect of God, holy and beloved, bowels of mercies, kindness, humbleness of mind, meekness, longsuffering.

- In God I will praise his word,
in God I have put my trust;
I will not fear what flesh can do unto me. - Therefore remove sorrow from thy heart, and put away evil from thy flesh: for childhood and youth are vanity.

Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.
- The hand of the diligent shall bear rule:
but the slothful shall be under tribute.
