- Put away from thee a froward mouth,
and perverse lips put far from thee. - What time I am afraid, I will trust in thee.
- Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.

- It is better to trust in the Lord
than to put confidence in man. - And above all these things put on charity, which is the bond of perfectness.
- But put ye on the Lord Jesus Christ, and make not provision for the flesh, to fulfil the lusts thereof.
- A new heart also will I give you, and a new spirit will I put within you: and I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you an heart of flesh.
- And they that know thy name will put their trust in thee:
for thou, Lord, hast not forsaken them that seek thee. - Therefore remove sorrow from thy heart, and put away evil from thy flesh: for childhood and youth are vanity.
- Now therefore put away, said he, the strange gods which are among you, and incline your heart unto the Lord God of Israel.

- For ye are all the children of God by faith in Christ Jesus. For as many of you as have been baptized into Christ have put on Christ.
- Every word of God is pure:
he is a shield unto them that put their trust in him. - Let us not therefore judge one another any more: but judge this rather, that no man put a stumblingblock or an occasion to fall in his brother's way.
- Put on therefore, as the elect of God, holy and beloved, bowels of mercies, kindness, humbleness of mind, meekness, longsuffering.
- In God I will praise his word,
in God I have put my trust;
I will not fear what flesh can do unto me. - Wash you, make you clean;
put away the evil of your doings
from before mine eyes;
cease to do evil. - Mortify therefore your members which are upon the earth; fornication, uncleanness, inordinate affection, evil concupiscence, and covetousness, which is idolatry.
- I wait for the Lord, my soul doth wait,
and in his word do I hope. - The hand of the diligent shall bear rule:
but the slothful shall be under tribute.
Take no thought for your life, what ye shall eat; neither for the body, what ye shall put on. The life is more than meat, and the body is more than raiment.He that keepeth the commandment keepeth his own soul;
