I will put my trust in you. - Put on all of God’s armor so that you will be able to stand firm against all strategies of the devil.

- Avoid all perverse talk;
stay away from corrupt speech. - So be strong and courageous,
all you who put your hope in the Lord! - I am counting on the Lord;
yes, I am counting on him.
I have put my hope in his word. - And I will give you a new heart, and I will put a new spirit in you. I will take out your stony, stubborn heart and give you a tender, responsive heart.
- Oh, what joy for those
whose disobedience is forgiven,
whose sin is put out of sight! - Don’t lie to each other, for you have stripped off your old sinful nature and all its wicked deeds. Put on your new nature, and be renewed as you learn to know your Creator and become like him.

Why is my heart so sad?
I will put my hope in God!

for you are the God who saves me.
All day long I put my hope in you. - For you are all children of God through faith in Christ Jesus. And all who have been united with Christ in baptism have put on Christ, like putting on new clothes.

than to trust in people. - Instead, clothe yourself with the presence of the Lord Jesus Christ. And don’t let yourself think about ways to indulge your evil desires.

for I have come to you for refuge.
Those who know your name trust in you,
for you, O Lord, do not abandon those who search for you.You adulterers! Don’t you realize that friendship with the world makes you an enemy of God? I say it again: If you want to be a friend of the world, you make yourself an enemy of God. But don’t just listen to God’s word. You must do what it says. Otherwise, you are only fooling yourselves.Next verse!With image
