- When I am afraid, I put my trust in you.

in God I trust and am not afraid.
What can mere mortals do to me? - So in Christ Jesus you are all children of God through faith, for all of you who were baptized into Christ have clothed yourselves with Christ.
- Diligent hands will rule,
but laziness ends in forced labor. - May your unfailing love be with us, Lord,
even as we put our hope in you. - Why, my soul, are you downcast?
Why so disturbed within me?
Put your hope in God,
for I will yet praise him,
my Savior and my God. - Above his head they placed the written charge against him: this is jesus, the king of the jews.

- Command those who are rich in this present world not to be arrogant nor to put their hope in wealth, which is so uncertain, but to put their hope in God, who richly provides us with everything for our enjoyment.
- And hope does not put us to shame, because God’s love has been poured out into our hearts through the Holy Spirit, who has been given to us.

all you who hope in the Lord. - Whatever you have learned or received or heard from me, or seen in me—put it into practice. And the God of peace will be with you.
- Every word of God is flawless;
he is a shield to those who take refuge in him. - No one lights a lamp and hides it in a clay jar or puts it under a bed. Instead, they put it on a stand, so that those who come in can see the light.
- Blessed is the one
whose transgressions are forgiven,
whose sins are covered. - Trust in the Lord and do good;
dwell in the land and enjoy safe pasture. - And now, dear children, continue in him, so that when he appears we may be confident and unashamed before him at his coming.
- He replied, “Blessed rather are those who hear the word of God and obey it.”
- Take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God.
You did not choose me, but I chose you and appointed you so that you might go and bear fruit—fruit that will last—and so that whatever you ask in my name the Father will give you. And my God will meet all your needs according to the riches of his glory in Christ Jesus.Next verse!With image
