It has no worries in a year of drought and never fails to bear fruit.Blessed is the man that trusteth in the Lord, and whose hope the Lord is. No, I strike a blow to my body and make it my slave so that after I have preached to others, I myself will not be disqualified for the prize.But I keep under my body, and bring it into subjection: lest that by any means, when I have preached to others, I myself should be a castaway.
Preach the word; be prepared in season and out of season; correct, rebuke and encourage—with great patience and careful instruction.Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all long suffering and doctrine.
You know that I have not hesitated to preach anything that would be helpful to you but have taught you publicly and from house to house.And how I kept back nothing that was profitable unto you, but have shewed you, and have taught you publicly, and from house to house.
Beyond all question, the mystery from which true godliness springs is great: He appeared in the flesh, was vindicated by the Spirit, was seen by angels, was preached among the nations, was believed on in the world, was taken up in glory.And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness: God was manifest in the flesh, justified in the Spirit, seen of angels, preached unto the Gentiles, believed on in the world, received up into glory.
