For I say through the grace that was given me, to everyone who is among you, not to think of yourself more highly than you ought to think; but to think reasonably, as God has apportioned to each person a measure of faith.For by the grace given to me I say to everyone among you not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think, but to think with sober judgment, each according to the measure of faith that God has assigned.
What shall we say then? Is the law sin? May it never be! However, I wouldn’t have known sin except through the law. For I wouldn’t have known coveting unless the law had said, “You shall not covet.”What then shall we say? That the law is sin? By no means! Yet if it had not been for the law, I would not have known sin. For I would not have known what it is to covet if the law had not said, “You shall not covet.”
The heart is deceitful above all things and it is exceedingly corrupt. Who can know it? “I, Yahweh, search the mind. I try the heart, even to give every man according to his ways, according to the fruit of his doings.”The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately sick; who can understand it? “I the Lord search the heart and test the mind, to give every man according to his ways, according to the fruit of his deeds.”
Therefore, brothers, be more diligent to make your calling and election sure. For if you do these things, you will never stumble. For thus you will be richly supplied with the entrance into the eternal Kingdom of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.Therefore, brothers, be all the more diligent to confirm your calling and election, for if you practice these qualities you will never fall. For in this way there will be richly provided for you an entrance into the eternal kingdom of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
For if you thoroughly amend your ways and your doings, if you thoroughly execute justice between a man and his neighbor; if you don’t oppress the foreigner, the fatherless, and the widow, and don’t shed innocent blood in this place, and don’t walk after other gods to your own hurt, then I will cause you to dwell in this place, in the land that I gave to your fathers, from of old even forever more.For if you truly amend your ways and your deeds, if you truly execute justice one with another, if you do not oppress the sojourner, the fatherless, or the widow, or shed innocent blood in this place, and if you do not go after other gods to your own harm, then I will let you dwell in this place, in the land that I gave of old to your fathers forever.
For your great loving kindness reaches to the heavens, and your truth to the skies.For your steadfast love is great to the heavens, your faithfulness to the clouds.
For if the readiness is there, it is acceptable according to what you have, not according to what you don’t have.For if the readiness is there, it is acceptable according to what a person has, not according to what he does not have.
But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceful, gentle, reasonable, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality, and without hypocrisy.But the wisdom from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, open to reason, full of mercy and good fruits, impartial and sincere.
Remember this: he who sows sparingly will also reap sparingly. He who sows bountifully will also reap bountifully.The point is this: whoever sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and whoever sows bountifully will also reap bountifully.
But sanctify the Lord God in your hearts. Always be ready to give an answer to everyone who asks you a reason concerning the hope that is in you, with humility and fear.But in your hearts honor Christ the Lord as holy, always being prepared to make a defense to anyone who asks you for a reason for the hope that is in you; yet do it with gentleness and respect.
For he who sows to his own flesh will from the flesh reap corruption. But he who sows to the Spirit will from the Spirit reap eternal life.For the one who sows to his own flesh will from the flesh reap corruption, but the one who sows to the Spirit will from the Spirit reap eternal life.
Therefore also be ready, for in an hour that you don’t expect, the Son of Man will come.Therefore you also must be ready, for the Son of Man is coming at an hour you do not expect.
For this reason you also pay taxes, for they are servants of God’s service, continually doing this very thing.For because of this you also pay taxes, for the authorities are ministers of God, attending to this very thing.
Wicked people earn deceitful wages, but one who sows righteousness reaps a sure reward.The wicked earns deceptive wages, but one who sows righteousness gets a sure reward.
For you, Lord, are good, and ready to forgive, abundant in loving kindness to all those who call on you.For you, O Lord, are good and forgiving, abounding in steadfast love to all who call upon you.

We can’t reach the Almighty. He is exalted in power. In justice and great righteousness, he will not oppress.The Almighty—we cannot find him; he is great in power; justice and abundant righteousness he will not violate.
