- Keep me safe, O God,
for I have come to you for refuge. - God is our refuge and strength,
always ready to help in times of trouble. - The Lord is a shelter for the oppressed,
a refuge in times of trouble. - My victory and honor come from God alone.
He is my refuge, a rock where no enemy can reach me. - It is better to take refuge in the Lord
than to trust in people. - Taste and see that the Lord is good.
Oh, the joys of those who take refuge in him! - The Lord is good,
a strong refuge when trouble comes.
He is close to those who trust in him. - But the Lord will redeem those who serve him.
No one who takes refuge in him will be condemned. - You are my refuge and my shield;
your word is my source of hope. - But as for me, I will sing about your power.
Each morning I will sing with joy about your unfailing love.
For you have been my refuge,
a place of safety when I am in distress. - Those who live in the shelter of the Most High
will find rest in the shadow of the Almighty.
This I declare about the Lord:
He alone is my refuge, my place of safety;
he is my God, and I trust him. - O Lord, I have come to you for protection;
don’t let me be disgraced.
Save me, for you do what is right. - He will cover you with his feathers.
He will shelter you with his wings.
His faithful promises are your armor and protection. - Every word of God proves true.
He is a shield to all who come to him for protection. - God’s way is perfect.
All the Lord’s promises prove true.
He is a shield for all who look to him for protection. - God’s way is perfect.
All the Lord’s promises prove true.
He is a shield for all who look to him for protection. - How great is the goodness
you have stored up for those who fear you.
You lavish it on those who come to you for protection,
blessing them before the watching world. - I love you, Lord;
you are my strength.
The Lord is my rock, my fortress, and my savior;
my God is my rock, in whom I find protection.
He is my shield, the power that saves me,
and my place of safety. - A prudent person foresees danger and takes precautions.
The simpleton goes blindly on and suffers the consequences. - The name of the Lord is a strong fortress;
the godly run to him and are safe. - The way of the Lord is a stronghold to those with integrity,
but it destroys the wicked. - For you are my hiding place;
you protect me from trouble.
You surround me with songs of victory.
So if the Son sets you free, you are truly free. So be careful how you live. Don’t live like fools, but like those who are wise. Make the most of every opportunity in these evil days.Next verse!With image
