- The Lord also will be a refuge for the oppressed,
a refuge in times of trouble. - God is our refuge and strength,
a very present help in trouble. - In God is my salvation and my glory:
the rock of my strength, and my refuge, is in God. - Preserve me, O God:
for in thee do I put my trust. - It is better to trust in the Lord
than to put confidence in man. - O taste and see that the Lord is good:
blessed is the man that trusteth in him. - But I will sing of thy power;
yea, I will sing aloud of thy mercy in the morning:
for thou hast been my defence
and refuge in the day of my trouble. - The Lord is good,
a strong hold in the day of trouble;
and he knoweth them that trust in him. - The Lord redeemeth the soul of his servants:
and none of them that trust in him shall be desolate. - He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High
shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.
I will say of the Lord, He is my refuge and my fortress:
my God; in him will I trust. - In thee, O Lord, do I put my trust;
let me never be ashamed:
deliver me in thy righteousness. - He shall cover thee with his feathers,
and under his wings shalt thou trust:
his truth shall be thy shield and buckler. - Every word of God is pure:
he is a shield unto them that put their trust in him. - As for God, his way is perfect;
the word of the Lord is tried:
he is a buckler to all them that trust in him. - Thou art my hiding place and my shield:
I hope in thy word. - As for God, his way is perfect:
the word of the Lord is tried:
he is a buckler to all those that trust in him. - Oh how great is thy goodness,
which thou hast laid up for them that fear thee;
which thou hast wrought for them that trust in thee
before the sons of men! - I will love thee, O Lord, my strength.
The Lord is my rock, and my fortress, and my deliverer;
my God, my strength, in whom I will trust;
my buckler, and the horn of my salvation, and my high tower. - A prudent man foreseeth the evil, and hideth himself;
but the simple pass on, and are punished. - The name of the Lord is a strong tower:
the righteous runneth into it, and is safe. - The way of the Lord is strength to the upright:
but destruction shall be to the workers of iniquity. - Thou art my hiding place;
thou shalt preserve me from trouble;
thou shalt compass me about with songs of deliverance. Selah.
The Lord our God be with us, as he was with our fathers: let him not leave us, nor forsake us. Let us hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering; (for he is faithful that promised;)Next verse!With image
