“Now therefore,” he said, “put away the foreign gods which are among you, and incline your heart to the Lord God of Israel.”He continued, “Then put away the foreign gods from among you. Bend your heart to the Lord, the God of Israel.”
Now, therefore, you are no longer strangers and foreigners, but fellow citizens with the saints and members of the household of God, having been built on the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ Himself being the chief cornerstone.As a result, you are no longer strangers and foreigners. Rather, you are fellow citizens of the saints and members of the household of God, built upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets, with Christ Jesus himself as the cornerstone.
