- When they heard this, they were baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus. And when Paul had laid hands upon them, the Holy Spirit came on them and they began speaking with tongues and prophesying.

And says to Zion, “Your God reigns!” - Therefore, prepare your minds for action, keep sober in spirit, set your hope completely on the grace to be brought to you at the revelation of Jesus Christ.
- The One who builds His upper chambers in the heavens
And has founded His vaulted dome over the earth,
He who calls for the waters of the sea
And pours them out on the face of the earth,
The Lord is His name. - For those who are in accord with the flesh set their minds on the things of the flesh, but those who are in accord with the Spirit, the things of the Spirit.
- Then God said, “Behold, I have given you every plant yielding seed that is on the surface of all the earth, and every tree which has fruit yielding seed; it shall be food for you.”
- Yet as for me, I know that my Redeemer lives,
And at the last, He will take His stand on the earth. - If I speak with the tongues of mankind and of angels, but do not have love, I have become a noisy gong or a clanging cymbal.
- The eyes of the Lord are toward the righteous,
And His ears are toward their cry for help. - And as I began to speak, the Holy Spirit fell upon them just as He did upon us at the beginning.
- Do not let kindness and truth leave you;
Bind them around your neck,
Write them on the tablet of your heart.
So you will find favor and a good reputation
In the sight of God and man. - Now the Lord said to Moses, “Come up to Me on the mountain and stay there, and I will give you the stone tablets with the Law and the commandments which I have written for their instruction.”
- “For I take no pleasure in the death of anyone who dies,” declares the Lord God. “Therefore, repent and live!”
- I will make them and the places around My hill a blessing. And I will make showers fall in their season; they will be showers of blessing.
- And Jesus said to him, “Go; your faith has made you well.” And immediately he regained his sight and began following Him on the road.
- And I heard every created thing which is in heaven, or on the earth, or under the earth, or on the sea, and all the things in them, saying,
“To Him who sits on the throne and to the Lamb be the blessing, the honor, the glory, and the dominion forever and ever.” - But He said, “On the contrary, blessed are those who hear the word of God and follow it.”
- Can a woman forget her nursing child
And have no compassion on the son of her womb?
Even these may forget, but I will not forget you.
Behold, I have inscribed you on the palms of My hands;
Your walls are continually before Me. - Now why do you delay? Get up and be baptized, and wash away your sins by calling on His name.
- God blessed them; and God said to them, “Be fruitful and multiply, and fill the earth, and subdue it; and rule over the fish of the sea and over the birds of the sky and over every living thing that moves on the earth.”
- “And they will be Mine,” says the Lord of armies, “on the day that I prepare My own possession, and I will have compassion for them just as a man has compassion for his own son who serves him.”
- Do not lie to one another, since you stripped off the old self with its evil practices, and have put on the new self, which is being renewed to a true knowledge according to the image of the One who created it.
- Therefore, take up the full armor of God, so that you will be able to resist on the evil day, and having done everything, to stand firm.
