Come, see the place where the Lord lay. | The angel said to the women, “Do not be afraid, for I know that you are looking for Jesus, who was crucified. He is not here; he has risen, just as he said. | But Jesus beheld them, and said unto them, With men this is impossible; but with God all things are possible. | Jesus looked at them and said, “With man this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.” |
| Then said Jesus unto them, Yet a little while am I with you, and then I go unto him that sent me. | Jesus said, “I am with you for only a short time, and then I am going to the one who sent me.” |

| Philip saith unto him, Lord, show us the Father, and it sufficeth us. | Philip said, “Lord, show us the Father and that will be enough for us.” |

| When I said, My foot slippeth; thy mercy, O Lord, held me up. | When I said, “My foot is slipping,” your unfailing love, Lord, supported me. |
| And Jesus said unto him, Go thy way; thy faith hath made thee whole. And immediately he received his sight, and followed Jesus in the way. | “Go,” said Jesus, “your faith has healed you.” Immediately he received his sight and followed Jesus along the road. |
| And he said, The things which are impossible with men are possible with God. | Jesus replied, “What is impossible with man is possible with God.” |
| And he saith unto them, Follow me, and I will make you fishers of men. | “Come, follow me,” Jesus said, “and I will send you out to fish for people.” |
