- Wherefore he is able also to save them to the uttermost that come unto God by him, seeing he ever liveth to make intercession for them.

- Now no chastening for the present seemeth to be joyous, but grievous: nevertheless afterward it yieldeth the peaceable fruit of righteousness unto them which are exercised thereby.

- Seek ye the Lord, all ye meek of the earth,
which have wrought his judgment;
seek righteousness, seek meekness:
it may be ye shall be hid
in the day of the Lord's anger. - No man hath seen God at any time. If we love one another, God dwelleth in us, and his love is perfected in us.
- No man hath seen God at any time, the only begotten Son, which is in the bosom of the Father, he hath declared him.
- Charity suffereth long, and is kind; charity envieth not; charity vaunteth not itself, is not puffed up, Doth not behave itself unseemly, seeketh not her own, is not easily provoked, thinketh no evil.
- For he that will love life, and see good days, let him refrain his tongue from evil, and his lips that they speak no guile: Let him eschew evil, and do good; let him seek peace, and ensue it.
- Can any hide himself in secret places that I shall not see him? saith the Lord. Do not I fill heaven and earth? saith the Lord.
- See that none render evil for evil unto any man; but ever follow that which is good, both among yourselves, and to all men.
- And the angel answered and said unto the women, Fear not ye: for I know that ye seek Jesus, which was crucified. He is not here: for he is risen, as he said. Come, see the place where the Lord lay.
- And I will walk at liberty:
for I seek thy precepts. - Being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the word of God, which liveth and abideth for ever.
- Nevertheless let every one of you in particular so love his wife even as himself; and the wife see that she reverence her husband.
- Lie not one to another, seeing that ye have put off the old man with his deeds; And have put on the new man, which is renewed in knowledge after the image of him that created him.
- Depart from evil, and do good;
seek peace, and pursue it. - He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him.
- Those things, which ye have both learned, and received, and heard, and seen in me, do: and the God of peace shall be with you.
- Search me, O God, and know my heart:
try me, and know my thoughts:
And see if there be any wicked way in me,
and lead me in the way everlasting. - If any man among you seem to be religious, and bridleth not his tongue, but deceiveth his own heart, this man's religion is vain.
- And the shepherds returned, glorifying and praising God for all the things that they had heard and seen, as it was told unto them.
For the Lord loveth judgment,
and forsaketh not his saints;
they are preserved for ever:
but the seed of the wicked shall be cut off.A new heart also will I give you, and a new spirit will I put within you: and I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you an heart of flesh.
