- Deep calls to deep
at the roar of your waterfalls;
all your breakers and your waves
have gone over me. - Do not toil to acquire wealth;

Wash me thoroughly from my iniquity,
and cleanse me from my sin! - And when you fast, do not look gloomy like the hypocrites, for they disfigure their faces that their fasting may be seen by others. Truly, I say to you, they have received their reward.

your steadfast love, O Lord, held me up. - And he answered, “You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength and with all your mind, and your neighbor as yourself.”
- My times are in your hand;
rescue me from the hand of my enemies
and from my persecutors! - In the path of your judgments,
O Lord, we wait for you;
your name and remembrance
are the desire of our soul. - I will never forget your precepts,
for by them you have given me life. - But I am the Lord your God
from the land of Egypt;
you know no God but me,
and besides me there is no savior. - With my whole heart I seek you;
let me not wander from your commandments! - I have chosen the way of faithfulness;
I set your rules before me. - Trust in the Lord with all your heart,
and do not lean on your own understanding.
In all your ways acknowledge him,
and he will make straight your paths. - And he said to him, “You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.”
- Hear my prayer, O Lord;
give ear to my pleas for mercy!
In your faithfulness answer me, in your righteousness! - I have blotted out your transgressions like a cloud
and your sins like mist;
return to me, for I have redeemed you. - Remove far from me falsehood and lying;
give me neither poverty nor riches;
feed me with the food that is needful for me.
