- Jesus then said to her, “Do not hold on to me, because I have not yet ascended to my Father. But go to my brethren and tell them, ‘I am ascending to my Father and your Father, to my God and your God.’ ”
- Hear, O Israel, the Lord, our God, is Lord alone. You shall love the Lord, your God, with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your might.
- You shall serve the Lord, your God. He will bless your bread and water and take away sickness from your midst.
- But for that very reason I was treated mercifully, so that in me Jesus Christ might exhibit his inexhaustible patience, making me an example for those who would come to believe in him for eternal life.

May your blessing be upon your people. Selah - But when you fast, put oil on your head and wash your face, so that the fact that you are fasting will not be obvious to others but only to your Father who is hidden. And your Father who sees everything that is done in secret will reward you.
- What god can compare with you,
the God who takes away guilt
and forgives the transgressions
of the remnant of your people?
You will not allow your anger to fester forever,
for your delight is in bestowing mercy. - If anyone wishes to serve me,
he must follow me.
Where I am,
there also will my servant be.
If anyone serves me,
my Father will honor that person. - Father, allow those you have given me
to be with me where I am,
so that they may behold my glory,
which you have bestowed on me
because you loved me
before the foundation of the world. - Be merciful, just as your Father is merciful.
- My mouth is filled with your praises
as I relate your glory all day long. - You are a place of refuge for me;
you preserve me from trouble
and surround me with songs of deliverance. Selah - I, the Lord, am your God. You must obey my laws and be careful to observe my ordinances. Keep holy my Sabbaths as a sign between me and you so that you will know that I am the Lord, your God.
- Be mindful, O Lord, that mercy and kindness
have been yours from of old.
Remember not the sins of my youth
or my many transgressions,
but remember me in your kindness,
for the sake of your goodness, O Lord. - Rend your hearts and not your garments,
and turn back to the Lord, your God.
For he is gracious and merciful,
slow to anger, rich in kindness,
and always prepared to relent from punishing. - For your kindness extends to the heavens;
your faithfulness, to the skies. - Draw near to God, and he will draw near to you. Cleanse your hands, you sinners, and purify your hearts, you waverers.
- When you call out to me and come forth and pray to me, I will listen to you.
- Let your eyes look straight ahead;
fix your gaze on what lies before you. - With the Lord to protect me I am not afraid.
What can mortals do to me? - Not to us, O Lord, not to us,
but to your name give glory
because of your kindness and faithfulness. - If you love me,
you will keep my commandments. - As the heavens are higher than the earth,
so are my ways higher than your ways
and my thoughts above your thoughts. - Honor the Lord with your wealth
and with the firstfruits of all your crops. - Observe your father’s command, my son,
and do not reject your mother’s teaching.
