Walk in wisdom toward those who are outside, redeeming the time. Let your speech always be with grace, seasoned with salt, that you may know how you ought to answer each one.Conduct yourselves wisely toward outsiders, making the most of the time. Where there is no counsel, plans fail; but in a multitude of counselors they are established.Without counsel, plans go wrong, but with many advisers they succeed.

It is an honor for a man to keep aloof from strife, but every fool will be quarreling.It is honorable to refrain from strife, but every fool is quick to quarrel.

He who hides hatred has lying lips. He who utters a slander is a fool.Lying lips conceal hatred, and whoever utters slander is a fool.
Excellent speech isn’t fitting for a fool, much less do lying lips fit a prince.Fine speech is not becoming to a fool; still less is false speech to a ruler.

The tongue of the righteous is like choice silver. The heart of the wicked is of little worth.The tongue of the righteous is choice silver; the mind of the wicked is of little worth.
