Surely the Lord God does nothing, Unless He reveals His secret to His servants the prophets. | Indeed, the Lord God does nothing without revealing his plan to his servants, the prophets. |

He who walks with integrity walks securely, But he who perverts his ways will become known. | Anyone who leads an honorable life walks in safety, but whoever pursues wicked ways will be found out. |

He who calls you is faithful, who also will do it. | The one who calls you is faithful, and he will accomplish this. |
Can a woman forget her nursing child, And not have compassion on the son of her womb? Surely they may forget, Yet I will not forget you. See, I have inscribed you on the palms of My hands; Your walls are continually before Me. | Can a woman forget the infant at her breast; or feel no compassion for the child of her womb? Will you set your eyes on that which is not? For riches certainly make themselves wings; They fly away like an eagle toward heaven. | When you fix your gaze upon it, it is gone before you realize it. For it suddenly sprouts wings and flies up to the sky like an eagle. |
Can anyone forbid water, that these should not be baptized who have received the Holy Spirit just as we have? | Can anyone withhold the water of baptism from these people who have received the Holy Spirit just as we have? |
For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the Lord, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope. | For I know full well the plans I have for you, plans for your welfare and not for your misfortune, plans that will offer you a future filled with hope. |
Marriage is honorable among all, and the bed undefiled; but fornicators and adulterers God will judge. | Let marriage be held in honor by all, and the marriage bed kept undefiled, for those who are immoral and adulterers will have to face God’s judgment. |
