You will not add to what I command you, nor will you take away from it, so that you might observe the commandments of the Lord, your God, that I am giving you. Just as he came forth naked from his mother’s womb, so shall he depart, naked as he came, with nothing remaining from his labor that he can carry away in his hands. How great is your goodness, O Lord, which you have stored up for those who fear you and which you bestow on those who take refuge in you, in the presence of all the people. Fight the good fight of faith. Take no part in the fruitless deeds of darkness, but rather seek to expose them. For it is shameful even to speak of what deeds people do in secret. So Christ, having been offered once to take away the sins of many, will appear a second time, not to deal with sin but to bring salvation to those who are eagerly waiting for him. Why do you take note of the splinter in your brother’s eye but do not notice the wooden plank in your own eye? Matthew 7:3	And why do you look at the speck in your brother’s eye, but do not consider the plank in your own eye? sin judgment
The brother who is in modest circumstances should take pride in being raised up. Likewise, the one who is rich should glory in being brought low, for he will disappear like a flower of the field. James 1:9-10	Let the lowly brother glory in his exaltation, but the rich in his humiliation, because as a flower of the field he will pass away. pride humility money
Take heed to follow the commandments and the laws that Moses, the servant of the Lord, gave you: to love the Lord, your God, and to walk in his ways and to observe his commandments, holding fast to him and serving him with all your heart and all your soul. Joshua 22:5	But take careful heed to do the commandment and the law which Moses the servant of the Lord commanded you, to love the Lord your God, to walk in all His ways, to keep His commandments, to hold fast to Him, and to serve Him with all your heart and with all your soul. law heart soul
Therefore, put on the armor of God, so that you will be able to hold fast on the evil day and to hold your ground with all your strength. Ephesians 6:13	Therefore take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. protection evil devil
The Lord is good, an unfailing refuge in a time of distress. He takes care of those who place their trust in him. Nahum 1:7	The Lord is good, A stronghold in the day of trouble; And He knows those who trust in Him. protection goodness safety
I will give you a new heart and place a new spirit within you. I will remove from your body a heart of stone and give you a heart of flesh in its place. You shall take heed to observe the commandments of the Lord, your God, and the decrees and statutes that he has given to you. Deuteronomy 6:17	You shall diligently keep the commandments of the Lord your God, His testimonies, and His statutes which He has commanded you. law obedience
The Lord redeems the lives of those who serve him; no one will be condemned who takes refuge in him. Psalm 34:23	The Lord redeems the soul of His servants, And none of those who trust in Him shall be condemned. salvation life protection
For this reason, I rejoice when I endure weaknesses, insults, hardships, persecutions, and distress for the sake of Christ.
