As for God, his way is perfect: The Lord’s word is flawless; he shields all who take refuge in him.The way of God is blameless; the Lord’s promise has proved true. He is a shield to all who take refuge in him.
The Lord will rescue his servants; no one who takes refuge in him will be condemned.The Lord redeems the lives of those who serve him; no one will be condemned who takes refuge in him.
“Abba, Father,” he said, “everything is possible for you. Take this cup from me. Yet not what I will, but what you will.”Abba, Father, for you all things are possible. Take this cup from me. Yet not my will but yours be done.
After he said this, he was taken up before their very eyes, and a cloud hid him from their sight.After he said this, he was lifted up as they looked on, and a cloud took him from their sight.

My dear brothers and sisters, take note of this: Everyone should be quick to listen, slow to speak and slow to become angry.Remember this, my beloved brethren: everyone should be quick to listen but slow to speak and slow to anger.

Take words with you and return to the Lord. How abundant are the good things that you have stored up for those who fear you, that you bestow in the sight of all, on those who take refuge in you.How great is your goodness, O Lord, which you have stored up for those who fear you and which you bestow on those who take refuge in you, in the presence of all the people.

Then he called the crowd to him along with his disciples and said: “Whoever wants to be my disciple must deny themselves and take up their cross and follow me.”He then called the people and his disciples to him and said to them, “Anyone who wishes to follow me must deny himself, take up his cross, and follow me.”
Everyone comes naked from their mother’s womb, and as everyone comes, so they depart. They take nothing from their toil that they can carry in their hands.Just as he came forth naked from his mother’s womb, so shall he depart, naked as he came, with nothing remaining from his labor that he can carry away in his hands.
