- If you had known me, you would have known my Father also. From now on, you know him and have seen him.

- Yahweh himself is who goes before you. He will be with you. He will not fail you nor forsake you. Don’t be afraid. Don’t be discouraged.
- Call to me, and I will answer you, and will show you great and difficult things, which you don’t know.
- Yahweh, you have searched me,
and you know me.
You know my sitting down and my rising up.
You perceive my thoughts from afar. - You shall seek me and find me, when you search for me with all your heart.
- For you, God, have tested us.
You have refined us, as silver is refined. - God, you are my God.
I will earnestly seek you.
My soul thirsts for you.
My flesh longs for you,
in a dry and weary land, where there is no water. - That I may come to you in joy through the will of God, and together with you, find rest.
- Lord, all my desire is before you.
My groaning is not hidden from you. - It shall not be so among you; but whoever desires to become great among you shall be your servant. Whoever desires to be first among you shall be your bondservant.
