What are human beings that you are mindful of them, mortals that you care for them? | What is man, that thou art mindful of him? and the son of man, that thou visitest him? |
Do you not know that you are God's temple and that God's Spirit dwells in you? | Know ye not that ye are the temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwelleth in you? |

Nothing is covered up that will not be uncovered, and nothing secret that will not become known. | For there is nothing covered, that shall not be revealed; neither hid, that shall not be known. |
And if we know that he hears us in whatever we ask, we know that we have obtained the requests made of him. | And if we know that he hear us, whatsoever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we desired of him. |

In this is love, not that we loved God but that he loved us and sent his Son to be the atoning sacrifice for our sins. | Herein is love, not that we loved God, but that he loved us, and sent his Son to be the propitiation for our sins. |
But those who do what is true come to the light, so that it may be clearly seen that their deeds have been done in God. | But he that doeth truth cometh to the light, that his deeds may be made manifest, that they are wrought in God. |
Do not judge, so that you may not be judged. | Judge not, that ye be not judged. |
I write these things to you who believe in the name of the Son of God, so that you may know that you have eternal life. | These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life, and that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God. |
Hence, as to the eating of food offered to idols, we know that “no idol in the world really exists,” and that “there is no God but one.” | As concerning therefore the eating of those things that are offered in sacrifice unto idols, we know that an idol is nothing in the world, and that there is none other God but one. |
It is that very Spirit bearing witness with our spirit that we are children of God. | The Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God. |
Be on your guard, so that you do not lose what we have worked for, but may receive a full reward. | Look to yourselves, that we lose not those things which we have wrought, but that we receive a full reward. |
And this is the boldness we have in him, that if we ask anything according to his will, he hears us. | And this is the confidence that we have in him, that, if we ask any thing according to his will, he heareth us. |
Beloved, I pray that all may go well with you and that you may be in good health, just as it is well with your soul. | Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth. |
Let everything that breathes praise the Lord! Praise the Lord! | Let every thing that hath breath praise the Lord. Praise ye the Lord. |
Because if you confess with your lips that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. | That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. |
If the world hates you, be aware that it hated me before it hated you. | If the world hate you, ye know that it hated me before it hated you. |
And without faith it is impossible to please God, for whoever would approach him must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who seek him. | But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him. |
Let us therefore make every effort to enter that rest, so that no one may fall through such disobedience as theirs. | Let us labour therefore to enter into that rest, lest any man fall after the same example of unbelief. |
Because you know that the testing of your faith produces endurance. | Knowing this, that the trying of your faith worketh patience. |
For God so loved the world that he gave his only Son, so that everyone who believes in him may not perish but may have eternal life. | For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. |
So teach us to count our days that we may gain a wise heart. | So teach us to number our days, that we may apply our hearts unto wisdom. |
