- But the one who endures to the end will be saved.
- But you, O Lord, are a shield around me;
you are my glory, the one who holds my head high. - Joyful is the person who finds wisdom,
the one who gains understanding. - Jesus told them, “This is the only work God wants from you: Believe in the one he has sent.”
- I tell you the truth, slaves are not greater than their master. Nor is the messenger more important than the one who sends the message.
- Paul said, “John’s baptism called for repentance from sin. But John himself told the people to believe in the one who would come later, meaning Jesus.”
- No one can serve two masters. For you will hate one and love the other; you will be devoted to one and despise the other. You cannot serve God and be enslaved to money.
- For there is one body and one Spirit, just as you have been called to one glorious hope for the future.
- For every house has a builder, but the one who built everything is God.
- I didn’t know he was the one, but when God sent me to baptize with water, he told me, ‘The one on whom you see the Spirit descend and rest is the one who will baptize with the Holy Spirit.’
- He will not let you stumble;
the one who watches over you will not slumber. - But Jesus told them, “I will be with you only a little longer. Then I will return to the one who sent me.”
- But God is my helper.
The Lord keeps me alive! - And this is the way to have eternal life—to know you, the only true God, and Jesus Christ, the one you sent to earth.
- And who can win this battle against the world? Only those who believe that Jesus is the Son of God.
- “I am the Alpha and the Omega—the beginning and the end,” says the Lord God. “I am the one who is, who always was, and who is still to come—the Almighty One.”
- God will make this happen, for he who calls you is faithful.
- Because one person disobeyed God, many became sinners. But because one other person obeyed God, many will be made righteous.
- I, yes I, am the one who comforts you.
So why are you afraid of mere humans,
who wither like the grass and disappear? - Owe nothing to anyone—except for your obligation to love one another. If you love your neighbor, you will fulfill the requirements of God’s law.
- Oh, what joy for those
whose disobedience is forgiven,
whose sin is put out of sight! - Some of us are Jews, some are Gentiles, some are slaves, and some are free. But we have all been baptized into one body by one Spirit, and we all share the same Spirit.
- Remember this—a farmer who plants only a few seeds will get a small crop. But the one who plants generously will get a generous crop.
- Enjoy prosperity while you can,
but when hard times strike, realize that both come from God.
Remember that nothing is certain in this life. - But consider the joy of those corrected by God!
Do not despise the discipline of the Almighty when you sin.
Please, Lord, please save us.
Please, Lord, please give us success.
Bless the one who comes in the name of the Lord.
We bless you from the house of the Lord.I am leaving you with a gift—peace of mind and heart. And the peace I give is a gift the world cannot give. So don’t be troubled or afraid.
