| “If you will not hear, And if you will not take it to heart, To give glory to My name,” Says the Lord of hosts, “I will send a curse upon you, And I will curse your blessings. | It is a snare for a man to devote rashly something as holy, And afterward to reconsider his vows. | It is a trap to dedicate something rashly and only later to consider one’s vows. |
| Then Jesus, being filled with the Holy Spirit, returned from the Jordan and was led by the Spirit into the wilderness, being tempted for forty days by the devil.
