Chinese (traditional)- The Lord does not delay in keeping his promise, as some think in terms of delay, but he is patient with you. It is not his wish that any should perish but rather that all should be brought to repentance.
- The heart is more deceitful than any other thing,
and it is also perverse.
Who can uncover its secrets?
I, the Lord, search the heart
and probe the mind
to reward all according to their conduct
and as their deeds deserve. - Go, and assemble all the Jews who are in Susa, and fast for me. Do not eat or drink for three days, night or day. My maids and I will do the same thing. After that, I will go to the king—against the law. And if I perish, I perish!
- He has satisfied the thirsty
and filled the hungry with good things. - No, throughout all these things we are conquerors because of him who loved us.
- Jesus answered, “If it is possible! All things are possible for one who has faith.”
- One who gossips reveals secrets,
but a trustworthy man keeps things hidden. - For us there is
one God, the Father,
from whom all things are
and for whom we exist,
and one Lord, Jesus Christ,
through whom all things are
and through whom we exist. - Those who live according to the flesh fix their attention on the things of the flesh, while those who live according to the Spirit set their thoughts on spiritual things.
- For from him and through him and for him are all things. To him be glory forever. Amen.
- I have told you these things
so that my joy may be in you
and your joy may be complete. - The end of all things is near. Therefore, lead disciplined lives and be watchful in prayer.
- Jesus looked at them and said, “For men this is impossible, but for God all things are possible.”
- Rather, professing truth and love, we will in all things grow into him who is the head, Christ.
- Faith is the assurance of what we hope for and the conviction about things that cannot be seen.
- Through him all things came into existence,
and without him there was nothing.
That which came to be. - And we are witnesses to these things, as is the Holy Spirit whom God has given to those who obey him.
- Abba, Father, for you all things are possible. Take this cup from me. Yet not my will but yours be done.
- Jesus looked at them and said, “For men it is impossible, but not for God. For God all things are possible.”
- Thus there are three things that endure: faith, hope, and love,
and the greatest of these is love. - Rather, seek the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.
- Therefore, when someone is guilty of any one of these things, he shall confess the sin he has committed.
- They exchanged the truth of God for a lie and offered worship and service to the creature rather than to the Creator, who is blessed forever. Amen. That is why God abandoned them to their shameful passions. Their women exchanged natural intercourse for unnatural practices. Likewise, men gave up natural relations with women and were consumed with passion for one another. Men committed shameful acts with men and received in their own persons the fitting penalty for their perversion. Furthermore, since these people did not see fit to acknowledge God, he abandoned them to their depraved way of thinking and to all types of vile behavior.
- Only fear the Lord and serve him faithfully with your whole heart, considering the great things he has done for you.
- I write these things to you
who believe in the name of the Son of God
so that you may know
that you have eternal life.
For I am convinced that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor present things, nor things to come, nor powers, nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature will be able to separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord. And as we gaze upon the glory of the Lord with unveiled faces, all of us are being transformed into that same image from glory to glory, which comes from the Lord, who is the Spirit. After you have suffered for a brief period, the God of all grace, who has called you to his eternal glory in Christ, will himself restore, confirm, strengthen, and support you.Next verse! With image
