Things (2/4)

But Jesus beheld them, and said unto them, With men this is impossible; but with God all things are possible.Jesus looked at them intently and said, “Humanly speaking, it is impossible. But with God everything is possible.”
O Lord, thou art my God; I will exalt thee, I will praise thy name; for thou hast done wonderful things; thy counsels of old are faithfulness and truth.O Lord, I will honor and praise your name, for you are my God. You do such wonderful things! You planned them long ago, and now you have accomplished them.
But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.Seek the Kingdom of God above all else, and live righteously, and he will give you everything you need.
And Jesus looking upon them saith, With men it is impossible, but not with God: for with God all things are possible.Jesus looked at them intently and said, “Humanly speaking, it is impossible. But not with God. Everything is possible with God.”
For every house is builded by some man; but he that built all things is God.For every house has a builder, but the one who built everything is God.
And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose. And we know that God causes everything to work together for the good of those who love God and are called according to his purpose for them.
His lord said unto him, Well done, thou good and faithful servant: thou hast been faithful over a few things, I will make thee ruler over many things: enter thou into the joy of thy lord. The master was full of praise. ‘Well done, my good and faithful servant. You have been faithful in handling this small amount, so now I will give you many more responsibilities. Let’s celebrate together!’
Sing unto the Lord; for he hath done excellent things: this is known in all the earth.Sing to the Lord, for he has done wonderful things. Make known his praise around the world.
Abba, Father, all things are possible unto thee; take away this cup from me: nevertheless not what I will, but what thou wilt.“Abba, Father,” he cried out, “everything is possible for you. Please take this cup of suffering away from me. Yet I want your will to be done, not mine.”
These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life, and that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God.I have written this to you who believe in the name of the Son of God, so that you may know you have eternal life.
Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him.Do not love this world nor the things it offers you, for when you love the world, you do not have the love of the Father in you.
For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord. And I am convinced that nothing can ever separate us from God’s love. Neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither our fears for today nor our worries about tomorrow—not even the powers of hell can separate us from God’s love. No power in the sky above or in the earth below—indeed, nothing in all creation will ever be able to separate us from the love of God that is revealed in Christ Jesus our Lord.
But speak thou the things which become sound doctrine. As for you, Titus, promote the kind of living that reflects wholesome teaching.
Those things, which ye have both learned, and received, and heard, and seen in me, do: and the God of peace shall be with you.Keep putting into practice all you learned and received from me—everything you heard from me and saw me doing. Then the God of peace will be with you.
Therefore thou art inexcusable, O man, whosoever thou art that judgest: for wherein thou judgest another, thou condemnest thyself; for thou that judgest doest the same things. You may think you can condemn such people, but you are just as bad, and you have no excuse! When you say they are wicked and should be punished, you are condemning yourself, for you who judge others do these very same things.
Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new. This means that anyone who belongs to Christ has become a new person. The old life is gone; a new life has begun!
But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.But when the Father sends the Advocate as my representative—that is, the Holy Spirit—he will teach you everything and will remind you of everything I have told you.
For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse. For ever since the world was created, people have seen the earth and sky. Through everything God made, they can clearly see his invisible qualities—his eternal power and divine nature. So they have no excuse for not knowing God.
But thou, O man of God, flee these things; and follow after righteousness, godliness, faith, love, patience, meekness. But you, Timothy, are a man of God; so run from all these evil things. Pursue righteousness and a godly life, along with faith, love, perseverance, and gentleness.
He that spared not his own Son, but delivered him up for us all, how shall he not with him also freely give us all things?Since he did not spare even his own Son but gave him up for us all, won’t he also give us everything else?
Out of the same mouth proceedeth blessing and cursing. My brethren, these things ought not so to be.And so blessing and cursing come pouring out of the same mouth. Surely, my brothers and sisters, this is not right!
But speaking the truth in love, may grow up into him in all things, which is the head, even Christ.Instead, we will speak the truth in love, growing in every way more and more like Christ, who is the head of his body, the church.
Who is wise, and he shall understand these things? prudent, and he shall know them? for the ways of the Lord are right, and the just shall walk in them: but the transgressors shall fall therein.Let those who are wise understand these things. Let those with discernment listen carefully. The paths of the Lord are true and right, and righteous people live by walking in them. But in those paths sinners stumble and fall.
And the multitude of them that believed were of one heart and of one soul: neither said any of them that ought of the things which he possessed was his own; but they had all things common. All the believers were united in heart and mind. And they felt that what they owned was not their own, so they shared everything they had.
But who am I, and what is my people, that we should be able to offer so willingly after this sort? for all things come of thee, and of thine own have we given thee. But who am I, and who are my people, that we could give anything to you? Everything we have has come from you, and we give you only what you first gave us!

For what man knoweth the things of a man, save the spirit of man which is in him? even so the things of God knoweth no man, but the Spirit of God.No one can know a person’s thoughts except that person’s own spirit, and no one can know God’s thoughts except God’s own Spirit.

Bible verse of the day

In my distress I called upon the Lord,
and cried unto my God:
he heard my voice out of his temple,
and my cry came before him, even into his ears.
