He stores up sound wisdom for the upright; he is a shield to those who walk in integrity.He reserves his wisdom for the upright and is a shield to those who lead blameless lives.
Every word of God proves true; he is a shield to those who take refuge in him.Every word of God has proved to be true; he is a shield to those who trust in him.
As a father shows compassion to his children, so the Lord shows compassion to those who fear him.As a father has compassion for his children, so the Lord has compassion for those who fear him.
Now I, Nebuchadnezzar, praise and extol and honor the King of heaven, for all his works are right and his ways are just; and those who walk in pride he is able to humble.Therefore, now I, Nebuchadnezzar, praise and exalt and glorify the King of heaven. For all of his works are right, and all of his ways are just. Also, he is able to humble all those who follow the path of pride.
Lying lips are an abomination to the Lord, but those who act faithfully are his delight.The Lord abhors lying lips, but he delights in those who are truthful.
Blessed are those who are persecuted for righteousness' sake, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.Blessed are those who are persecuted in the cause of justice, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.
The Lord opens the eyes of the blind. The Lord lifts up those who are bowed down; the Lord loves the righteous.And opens the eyes of those who cannot see. The Lord lifts up those who are bowed down; the Lord loves the righteous.
And if you do good to those who do good to you, what benefit is that to you? For even sinners do the same.And if you do good to those who do good to you, what credit is that to you? Even sinners do as much.
Blessed are those whose way is blameless, who walk in the law of the Lord!Blessed are those whose way is blameless, who walk in accord with the law of the Lord.
Do not withhold good from those to whom it is due, when it is in your power to do it.Do not withhold kindness from anyone to whom it is due when it is in your power to grant it.
And we are witnesses to these things, and so is the Holy Spirit, whom God has given to those who obey him.And we are witnesses to these things, as is the Holy Spirit whom God has given to those who obey him.
So those who received his word were baptized, and there were added that day about three thousand souls.Those who accepted his message were baptized, and on that day about three thousand people were added to their number.
But if anyone does not provide for his relatives, and especially for members of his household, he has denied the faith and is worse than an unbeliever.And whoever does not provide for relatives, especially for those who are living with him, has disowned the faith and is worse than an unbeliever.
By insolence comes nothing but strife, but with those who take advice is wisdom.An ignorant man causes strife by his insolence, but wisdom is found with those who take advice.
The face of the Lord is against those who do evil, to cut off the memory of them from the earth.The face of the Lord is turned against those who do evil, to erase all memory of them from the earth.
Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace among those with whom he is pleased!Glory to God in the highest heaven, and on earth peace to all those on whom his favor rests.
Watch yourselves, so that you may not lose what we have worked for, but may win a full reward.Be on your guard that you do not lose what we have worked to accomplish so that you will receive your reward in full.
The Lord redeems the life of his servants; none of those who take refuge in him will be condemned.The Lord redeems the lives of those who serve him; no one will be condemned who takes refuge in him.
God settles the solitary in a home; he leads out the prisoners to prosperity, but the rebellious dwell in a parched land.He gives a home to those who are forsaken and leads out prisoners amid chants of exultation, while rebels are forced to live in an arid land.
Those whom I love, I reprove and discipline, so be zealous and repent.I reprove and discipline all those whom I love. Therefore, be sincere in your desire to repent.
Jesus said to him, “Have you believed because you have seen me? Blessed are those who have not seen and yet have believed.”Then Jesus said to him, “You have come to believe because you have seen me. Blessed are those who have not seen and yet have come to believe.”
So then, as we have opportunity, let us do good to everyone, and especially to those who are of the household of faith.Therefore, while we have the opportunity, let us labor for the good of all, but especially for those members of the household of the faith.
And a highway shall be there, and it shall be called the Way of Holiness; the unclean shall not pass over it. It shall belong to those who walk on the way; even if they are fools, they shall not go astray.A highway will be there that will be called the Way of Holiness. No one who is unclean may pass over it; it will serve as a path for pilgrims and no fool will be able to use it.
For the eyes of the Lord are on the righteous, and his ears are open to their prayer. But the face of the Lord is against those who do evil.For the eyes of the Lord are on the righteous and his ears are attentive to their prayer. However, the face of the Lord is set against those who do evil.
The earth is the Lord's and the fullness thereof, the world and those who dwell therein.The earth is the Lord’s and everything in it, the world and all who live in it.

For the word of the cross is folly to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God.Indeed, the message of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God.
