For the Lord thy God blesseth thee, as he promised thee: and thou shalt lend unto many nations, but thou shalt not borrow; and thou shalt reign over many nations, but they shall not reign over thee.For the Lord your God will bless you, as he promised you, and you shall lend to many nations, but you shall not borrow, and you shall rule over many nations, but they shall not rule over you.
Say not thou, What is the cause that the former days were better than these? for thou dost not enquire wisely concerning this.Say not, “Why were the former days better than these?” For it is not from wisdom that you ask this.
Jesus saith unto him, Thomas, because thou hast seen me, thou hast believed: blessed are they that have not seen, and yet have believed.Jesus said to him, “Have you believed because you have seen me? Blessed are those who have not seen and yet have believed.”
Thou art my hiding place and my shield: I hope in thy word.You are my hiding place and my shield; I hope in your word.
But thou, when thou fastest, anoint thine head, and wash thy face; That thou appear not unto men to fast, but unto thy Father which is in secret: and thy Father, which seeth in secret, shall reward thee openly.But when you fast, anoint your head and wash your face, that your fasting may not be seen by others but by your Father who is in secret. And your Father who sees in secret will reward you.
My soul, wait thou only upon God; for my expectation is from him.For God alone, O my soul, wait in silence, for my hope is from him.
Nevertheless for thy great mercies' sake thou didst not utterly consume them, nor forsake them; for thou art a gracious and merciful God.Nevertheless, in your great mercies you did not make an end of them or forsake them, for you are a gracious and merciful God.
When thou passest through the waters, I will be with thee; and through the rivers, they shall not overflow thee: when thou walkest through the fire, thou shalt not be burned; neither shall the flame kindle upon thee.When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and through the rivers, they shall not overwhelm you; when you walk through fire you shall not be burned, and the flame shall not consume you.
Before the mountains were brought forth, or ever thou hadst formed the earth and the world, even from everlasting to everlasting, thou art God.Before the mountains were brought forth, or ever you had formed the earth and the world, from everlasting to everlasting you are God.
And let the beauty of the Lord our God be upon us: and establish thou the work of our hands upon us; yea, the work of our hands establish thou it.Let the favor of the Lord our God be upon us, and establish the work of our hands upon us; yes, establish the work of our hands!
Since thou wast precious in my sight, thou hast been honourable, and I have loved thee: therefore will I give men for thee, and people for thy life.Because you are precious in my eyes, and honored, and I love you, I give men in return for you, peoples in exchange for your life.
O Lord, thou art my God; I will exalt thee, I will praise thy name; for thou hast done wonderful things; thy counsels of old are faithfulness and truth.O Lord, you are my God; I will exalt you; I will praise your name, for you have done wonderful things, plans formed of old, faithful and sure.
That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.Because, if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.
Oh how great is thy goodness, which thou hast laid up for them that fear thee; which thou hast wrought for them that trust in thee before the sons of men!Oh, how abundant is your goodness, which you have stored up for those who fear you and worked for those who take refuge in you, in the sight of the children of mankind!
I will never forget thy precepts: for with them thou hast quickened me.I will never forget your precepts, for by them you have given me life.
Thou therefore, my son, be strong in the grace that is in Christ Jesus.You then, my child, be strengthened by the grace that is in Christ Jesus.
I, even I, am he that comforteth you: who art thou, that thou shouldest be afraid of a man that shall die, and of the son of man which shall be made as grass.I, I am he who comforts you; who are you that you are afraid of man who dies, of the son of man who is made like grass.
Have not I commanded thee? Be strong and of a good courage; be not afraid, neither be thou dismayed: for the Lord thy God is with thee whithersoever thou goest.Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be frightened, and do not be dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.
For thou wilt light my candle: the Lord my God will enlighten my darkness.For it is you who light my lamp; the Lord my God lightens my darkness.
But thou, O Lord, art a shield for me; my glory, and the lifter up of mine head.But you, O Lord, are a shield about me, my glory, and the lifter of my head.
Be thou exalted, O God, above the heavens: and thy glory above all the earth.Be exalted, O God, above the heavens! Let your glory be over all the earth!
And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.And a second is like it: You shall love your neighbor as yourself.
Be thou exalted, O God, above the heavens; let thy glory be above all the earth.Be exalted, O God, above the heavens! Let your glory be over all the earth!
Thou, O Lord, remainest for ever; thy throne from generation to generation.But you, O Lord, reign forever; your throne endures to all generations.
For there is not a word in my tongue, but, lo, O Lord, thou knowest it altogether.Even before a word is on my tongue, behold, O Lord, you know it altogether.

Whither shall I go from thy spirit? or whither shall I flee from thy presence? If I ascend up into heaven, thou art there: if I make my bed in hell, behold, thou art there.Where shall I go from your Spirit? Or where shall I flee from your presence? If I ascend to heaven, you are there! If I make my bed in Sheol, you are there!
