- For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.
- Better is a little with the fear of the Lord
Than great treasure, and turmoil with the treasure. - The good person out of the good treasure of his heart brings forth what is good; and the evil person out of the evil treasure brings forth what is evil; for his mouth speaks from that which fills his heart.
- Jesus said to him, “If you want to be complete, go and sell your possessions and give to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven; and come, follow Me.”
- I have treasured Your word in my heart,
So that I may not sin against You. - Do not store up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moth and rust destroy, and where thieves break in and steal. But store up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust destroys, and where thieves do not break in or steal.
- Now then, if you will indeed obey My voice and keep My covenant, then you shall be My own possession among all the peoples, for all the earth is Mine.
- I have not failed the command of His lips;
I have treasured the words of His mouth more than my necessary food. - Ill-gotten gains do not benefit,
But righteousness rescues from death. - I have inherited Your testimonies forever,
For they are the joy of my heart. - He who finds a wife finds a good thing
And obtains favor from the Lord. - He stores up sound wisdom for the upright;
He is a shield to those who walk in integrity. - “And they will be Mine,” says the Lord of armies, “on the day that I prepare My own possession, and I will have compassion for them just as a man has compassion for his own son who serves him.”
A prudent person sees evil and hides himself;
But the naive proceed, and pay the penalty.
