- For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also.
- Better is little with the fear of the Lord
than great treasure and trouble therewith. - A good man out of the good treasure of his heart bringeth forth that which is good; and an evil man out of the evil treasure of his heart bringeth forth that which is evil: for of the abundance of the heart his mouth speaketh.
- Jesus said unto him, If thou wilt be perfect, go and sell that thou hast, and give to the poor, and thou shalt have treasure in heaven: and come and follow me.
- Now therefore, if ye will obey my voice indeed, and keep my covenant, then ye shall be a peculiar treasure unto me above all people: for all the earth is mine.
- Treasures of wickedness profit nothing:
but righteousness delivereth from death. - Thy word have I hid in mine heart,
that I might not sin against thee. - Lay not up for yourselves treasures upon earth, where moth and rust doth corrupt, and where thieves break through and steal: But lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust doth corrupt, and where thieves do not break through nor steal.
- Neither have I gone back from the commandment of his lips;
I have esteemed the words of his mouth more than my necessary food. - Thy testimonies have I taken as an heritage for ever:
for they are the rejoicing of my heart. - Whoso findeth a wife findeth a good thing,
and obtaineth favour of the Lord. - He layeth up sound wisdom for the righteous:
he is a buckler to them that walk uprightly. - And they shall be mine, saith the Lord of hosts, in that day when I make up my jewels; and I will spare them, as a man spareth his own son that serveth him.
Grace to you and peace from God our Father, and the Lord Jesus Christ. And let us consider one another to provoke unto love and to good works: Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching.Next verse!With image
