and with my song I give thanks to him. - And it shall be a tassel for you to look at and remember all the commandments of the Lord, to do them, not to follow after your own heart and your own eyes, which you are inclined to whore after.
- Beloved, if our heart does not condemn us, we have confidence before God; and whatever we ask we receive from him, because we keep his commandments and do what pleases him.
- I love you, O Lord, my strength.
The Lord is my rock and my fortress and my deliverer,
my God, my rock, in whom I take refuge,
my shield, and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold. - Behold, the eye of the Lord is on those who fear him,
on those who hope in his steadfast love. - But the steadfast love of the Lord is
from everlasting to everlasting on those who fear him,
and his righteousness to children's children,
to those who keep his covenant
and remember to do his commandments. - May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, so that by the power of the Holy Spirit you may abound in hope.
- And it will be righteousness for us, if we are careful to do all this commandment before the Lord our God, as he has commanded us.
- The end of the matter; all has been heard. Fear God and keep his commandments, for this is the whole duty of man.
- He will cover you with his pinions,
and under his wings you will find refuge;
his faithfulness is a shield and buckler.
