- Jesus replied, “Anyone who loves me will obey my teaching. My Father will love them, and we will come to them and make our home with them.”
- The Lord commanded us to obey all these decrees and to fear the Lord our God, so that we might always prosper and be kept alive, as is the case today.
- Keep me safe, my God,
for in you I take refuge. - Do not let your hearts be troubled. You believe in God; believe also in me.
- You will have these tassels to look at and so you will remember all the commands of the Lord, that you may obey them and not prostitute yourselves by chasing after the lusts of your own hearts and eyes.
- Every word of God is flawless;
he is a shield to those who take refuge in him. - But from everlasting to everlasting
the Lord’s love is with those who fear him,
and his righteousness with their children’s children—
with those who keep his covenant
and remember to obey his precepts. - Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.
- Keep my commands and follow them. I am the Lord.
- Command those who are rich in this present world not to be arrogant nor to put their hope in wealth, which is so uncertain, but to put their hope in God, who richly provides us with everything for our enjoyment.
- In you, Lord, I have taken refuge;
let me never be put to shame;
deliver me in your righteousness. - Fear of man will prove to be a snare,
but whoever trusts in the Lord is kept safe. - The Lord will rescue his servants;
no one who takes refuge in him will be condemned. - But blessed is the one who trusts in the Lord,
whose confidence is in him.
They will be like a tree planted by the water
that sends out its roots by the stream.
It does not fear when heat comes;
its leaves are always green.
It has no worries in a year of drought
and never fails to bear fruit. - As for God, his way is perfect:
The Lord’s word is flawless;
he shields all who take refuge in him. - As for God, his way is perfect:
The Lord’s word is flawless;
he shields all who take refuge in him. - Whoever gives heed to instruction prospers,
and blessed is the one who trusts in the Lord. - Whoever believes in the Son has eternal life, but whoever rejects the Son will not see life, for God’s wrath remains on them.
- And I will put my Spirit in you and move you to follow my decrees and be careful to keep my laws.
- How abundant are the good things
that you have stored up for those who fear you,
that you bestow in the sight of all,
on those who take refuge in you. - The Lord is my strength and my shield;
my heart trusts in him, and he helps me.
My heart leaps for joy,
and with my song I praise him. - Dear friends, if our hearts do not condemn us, we have confidence before God and receive from him anything we ask, because we keep his commands and do what pleases him.
- I love you, Lord, my strength.
The Lord is my rock, my fortress and my deliverer;
my God is my rock, in whom I take refuge,
my shield and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold. - But the eyes of the Lord are on those who fear him,
on those whose hope is in his unfailing love. - Now all has been heard;
here is the conclusion of the matter:
Fear God and keep his commandments,
for this is the duty of all mankind.
