| The Lord will command His lovingkindness in the daytime, And in the night His song shall be with me— A prayer to the God of my life. | By day the Lord directs his love, at night his song is with me— a prayer to the God of my life. |
| No one has seen God at any time. If we love one another, God abides in us, and His love has been perfected in us. | No one has ever seen God; but if we love one another, God lives in us and his love is made complete in us. |

| Remember, O Lord, Your tender mercies and Your lovingkindnesses, For they are from of old. | Hatred stirs up strife, But love covers all sins. | Hatred stirs up conflict, but love covers over all wrongs. |
