Bible Verses about 'Us'

May the Lord our God be with us as he was with our ancestors; may he never leave us or abandon us.The Lord our God be with us, as he was with our fathers: let him not leave us, nor forsake us.
You have tested us, O God; you have purified us like silver. For thou, O God, hast proved us: thou hast tried us, as silver is tried.
Give us today the food we need.Give us this day our daily bread.
And don’t let us yield to temptation, but rescue us from the evil one.And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil: For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever. Amen.
Come, let us worship and bow down. Let us kneel before the Lord our maker.O come, let us worship and bow down: let us kneel before the Lord our maker.
And God has given us his Spirit as proof that we live in him and he in us.Hereby know we that we dwell in him, and he in us, because he hath given us of his Spirit.
Philip said, “Lord, show us the Father, and we will be satisfied.”Philip saith unto him, Lord, show us the Father, and it sufficeth us.
What shall we say about such wonderful things as these? If God is for us, who can ever be against us?What shall we then say to these things? If God be for us, who can be against us?
We love each other because he loved us first. We love him, because he first loved us.
Help us, O God of our salvation! Help us for the glory of your name. Save us and forgive our sins for the honor of your name.Help us, O God of our salvation, for the glory of thy name: and deliver us, and purge away our sins, for thy name's sake.
And forgive us our sins, as we have forgiven those who sin against us.And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors.
Not to us, O Lord, not to us, but to your name goes all the glory for your unfailing love and faithfulness. Not unto us, O Lord, not unto us, but unto thy name give glory, for thy mercy, and for thy truth's sake.
Instead, let us test and examine our ways. Let us turn back to the Lord.Let us search and try our ways, and turn again to the Lord.
No one has ever seen God. But if we love each other, God lives in us, and his love is brought to full expression in us.No man hath seen God at any time. If we love one another, God dwelleth in us, and his love is perfected in us.
Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a huge crowd of witnesses to the life of faith, let us strip off every weight that slows us down, especially the sin that so easily trips us up. And let us run with endurance the race God has set before us.Wherefore seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us.
Since he did not spare even his own Son but gave him up for us all, won’t he also give us everything else?He that spared not his own Son, but delivered him up for us all, how shall he not with him also freely give us all things?
He gave his life to free us from every kind of sin, to cleanse us, and to make us his very own people, totally committed to doing good deeds.Who gave himself for us, that he might redeem us from all iniquity, and purify unto himself a peculiar people, zealous of good works.
For God saved us and called us to live a holy life. He did this, not because we deserved it, but because that was his plan from before the beginning of time—to show us his grace through Christ Jesus.Who hath saved us, and called us with an holy calling, not according to our works, but according to his own purpose and grace, which was given us in Christ Jesus before the world began.
But if we confess our sins to him, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all wickedness. If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
Those who obey God’s commandments remain in fellowship with him, and he with them. And we know he lives in us because the Spirit he gave us lives in us.And he that keepeth his commandments dwelleth in him, and he in him. And hereby we know that he abideth in us, by the Spirit which he hath given us.
Turn us again to yourself, O Lord God of Heaven’s Armies. Make your face shine down upon us. Only then will we be saved.Turn us again, O Lord God of hosts, cause thy face to shine; and we shall be saved.
Live a life filled with love, following the example of Christ. He loved us and offered himself as a sacrifice for us, a pleasing aroma to God.And walk in love, as Christ also hath loved us, and hath given himself for us an offering and a sacrifice to God for a sweetsmelling savour.
And all of this is a gift from God, who brought us back to himself through Christ. And God has given us this task of reconciling people to him.And all things are of God, who hath reconciled us to himself by Jesus Christ, and hath given to us the ministry of reconciliation.
For the Lord is our judge, our lawgiver, and our king. He will care for us and save us.For the Lord is our judge, the Lord is our lawgiver, the Lord is our king; he will save us.
Yes, God will bless us, and people all over the world will fear him.God shall bless us; and all the ends of the earth shall fear him.

Let your unfailing love surround us, Lord, for our hope is in you alone.Let thy mercy, O Lord, be upon us, according as we hope in thee.

Well then, should we keep on sinning so that God can show us more and more of his wonderful grace? Of course not! Since we have died to sin, how can we continue to live in it?

For the word of God is alive and powerful. It is sharper than the sharpest two-edged sword, cutting between soul and spirit, between joint and marrow. It exposes our innermost thoughts and desires.Next verse! With image
