No one has ever seen God; if we love one another, God abides in us and his love is perfected in us.No one has seen God at any time. If we love one another, God abides in us, and His love has been perfected in us.
And we are witnesses to these things, and so is the Holy Spirit, whom God has given to those who obey him.And we are His witnesses to these things, and so also is the Holy Spirit whom God has given to those who obey Him.

And it will be righteousness for us, if we are careful to do all this commandment before the Lord our God, as he has commanded us.Then it will be righteousness for us, if we are careful to observe all these commandments before the Lord our God, as He has commanded us.
This is the message we have heard from him and proclaim to you, that God is light, and in him is no darkness at all. This is the message which we have heard from Him and declare to you, that God is light and in Him is no darkness at all.
For since we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so, through Jesus, God will bring with him those who have fallen asleep. For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so God will bring with Him those who sleep in Jesus.
And this commandment we have from him: whoever loves God must also love his brother. And this commandment we have from Him: that he who loves God must love his brother also.
