And endurance develops strength of character, and character strengthens our confident hope of salvation. |
| We can’t reach the Almighty. He is exalted in power. In justice and great righteousness, he will not oppress. | We cannot imagine the power of the Almighty; but even though he is just and righteous, he does not destroy us. |
| In him we have our redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of our trespasses, according to the riches of his grace. | He is so rich in kindness and grace that he purchased our freedom with the blood of his Son and forgave our sins. |
| We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, for those who are called according to his purpose. | And we know that God causes everything to work together for the good of those who love God and are called according to his purpose for them. |
