Bible Verses about 'We'

  • If we live, it’s to honor the Lord. And if we die, it’s to honor the Lord. So whether we live or die, we belong to the Lord.
  • And since we know he hears us when we make our requests, we also know that he will give us what we ask for.
  • But if we look forward to something we don’t yet have, we must wait patiently and confidently.

  • For we live by believing and not by seeing.

  • And we are confident that he hears us whenever we ask for anything that pleases him.
  • Well then, since God’s grace has set us free from the law, does that mean we can go on sinning? Of course not!

  • But we have sinned and done wrong. We have rebelled against you and scorned your commands and regulations.
  • And forgive us our sins,
    as we have forgiven those who sin against us.
  • Since we have been united with him in his death, we will also be raised to life as he was. We know that our old sinful selves were crucified with Christ so that sin might lose its power in our lives. We are no longer slaves to sin.
  • Therefore, since we have been made right in God’s sight by faith, we have peace with God because of what Jesus Christ our Lord has done for us.
  • But who am I, and who are my people, that we could give anything to you? Everything we have has come from you, and we give you only what you first gave us!
  • Watch out that you do not lose what we have worked so hard to achieve. Be diligent so that you receive your full reward.
  • Dear friends, since God loved us that much, we surely ought to love each other.
  • For we are God’s masterpiece. He has created us anew in Christ Jesus, so we can do the good things he planned for us long ago.
  • But if we are living in the light, as God is in the light, then we have fellowship with each other, and the blood of Jesus, his Son, cleanses us from all sin.
  • Since we are living by the Spirit, let us follow the Spirit’s leading in every part of our lives.
  • This High Priest of ours understands our weaknesses, for he faced all of the same testings we do, yet he did not sin.
  • Our hearts ache, but we always have joy. We are poor, but we give spiritual riches to others. We own nothing, and yet we have everything.
  • Teach us to realize the brevity of life,
    so that we may grow in wisdom.
  • For his Spirit joins with our spirit to affirm that we are God’s children.
  • So let us come boldly to the throne of our gracious God. There we will receive his mercy, and we will find grace to help us when we need it most.
  • Just as our bodies have many parts and each part has a special function, so it is with Christ’s body. We are many parts of one body, and we all belong to each other.
  • So we fasted and earnestly prayed that our God would take care of us, and he heard our prayer.
  • For we are both God’s workers. And you are God’s field. You are God’s building.
  • When we were utterly helpless, Christ came at just the right time and died for us sinners.
  • For we will be counted as righteous when we obey all the commands the Lord our God has given us.
  • But for us,
    There is one God, the Father,
    by whom all things were created,
    and for whom we live.
    And there is one Lord, Jesus Christ,
    through whom all things were created,
    and through whom we live.
  • Some of us are Jews, some are Gentiles, some are slaves, and some are free. But we have all been baptized into one body by one Spirit, and we all share the same Spirit.
  • But we are citizens of heaven, where the Lord Jesus Christ lives. And we are eagerly waiting for him to return as our Savior.
  • So we don’t look at the troubles we can see now; rather, we fix our gaze on things that cannot be seen. For the things we see now will soon be gone, but the things we cannot see will last forever.
  • What shall we say about such wonderful things as these? If God is for us, who can ever be against us?
  • Turn us again to yourself, O Lord God of Heaven’s Armies.
    Make your face shine down upon us.
    Only then will we be saved.
