Bible Verses about 'Wealth'

A rich person’s wealth is his strong city, And like a high wall in his own imagination. The rich man’s wealth is his strong city, like an unscalable wall in his own imagination.
Wealth obtained from nothing dwindles, But one who gathers by labor increases it.Wealth gained dishonestly dwindles away, but he who gathers by hand makes it grow.
Honor the Lord from your wealth, And from the first of all your produce.Honor Yahweh with your substance, with the first fruits of all your increase.
House and wealth are an inheritance from fathers, But a prudent wife is from the Lord.House and riches are an inheritance from fathers, but a prudent wife is from Yahweh.
Do not weary yourself to gain wealth; Stop dwelling on it.Don’t weary yourself to be rich. In your wisdom, show restraint.
The ransom of a person’s life is his wealth, But the poor hears no rebuke. The ransom of a man’s life is his riches, but the poor hear no threats.
Furthermore, as for every person to whom God has given riches and wealth, He has also given him the opportunity to enjoy them and to receive his reward and rejoice in his labor; this is the gift of God.Every man also to whom God has given riches and wealth, and has given him power to eat of it, and to take his portion, and to rejoice in his labor—this is the gift of God.
One who loves money will not be satisfied with money, nor one who loves abundance with its income. This too is futility. He who loves silver shall not be satisfied with silver, nor he who loves abundance, with increase. This also is vanity.
It is the blessing of the Lord that makes rich, And He adds no sorrow to it.Yahweh’s blessing brings wealth, and he adds no trouble to it.
When you set your eyes on it, it is gone. For wealth certainly makes itself wings Like an eagle that flies toward the heavens. Why do you set your eyes on that which is not? For it certainly sprouts wings like an eagle and flies in the sky.
And the one sown with seed among the thorns, this is the one who hears the word, and the anxiety of the world and the deceitfulness of wealth choke the word, and it becomes unfruitful. What was sown among the thorns, this is he who hears the word, but the cares of this age and the deceitfulness of riches choke the word, and he becomes unfruitful.
A good name is to be more desired than great wealth; Favor is better than silver and gold.A good name is more desirable than great riches, and loving favor is better than silver and gold.
No one can serve two masters; for either he will hate the one and love the other, or he will be devoted to one and despise the other. You cannot serve God and wealth. No one can serve two masters, for either he will hate the one and love the other, or else he will be devoted to one and despise the other. You can’t serve both God and Mammon.
The reward of humility and the fear of the Lord Are riches, honor, and life. The result of humility and the fear of Yahweh is wealth, honor, and life.
Better is a little with the fear of the Lord Than great treasure, and turmoil with the treasure.Better is little, with the fear of Yahweh, than great treasure with trouble.
To whom God willed to make known what the wealth of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles is, the mystery that is Christ in you, the hope of glory. To whom God was pleased to make known what are the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles, which is Christ in you, the hope of glory.
Both riches and honor come from You, and You rule over all, and in Your hand is power and might; and it lies in Your hand to make great and to strengthen everyone. Both riches and honor come from you, and you rule over all! In your hand is power and might! It is in your hand to make great, and to give strength to all!
The Lord makes poor and rich; He humbles, He also exalts.Yahweh makes poor and makes rich. He brings low, he also lifts up.
But godliness actually is a means of great gain when accompanied by contentment. But godliness with contentment is great gain.
No one is to seek his own advantage, but rather that of his neighbor.Let no one seek his own, but each one his neighbor’s good.
That their hearts may be encouraged, having been knit together in love, and that they would attain to all the wealth that comes from the full assurance of understanding, resulting in a true knowledge of God’s mystery, that is, Christ Himself. That their hearts may be comforted, they being knit together in love, and gaining all riches of the full assurance of understanding, that they may know the mystery of God, both of the Father and of Christ.

For the arms of the wicked will be broken, But the Lord sustains the righteous.Better is a little that the righteous has, than the abundance of many wicked. For the arms of the wicked shall be broken, but Yahweh upholds the righteous.
Riches do not benefit on the day of wrath, But righteousness rescues from death.Riches don’t profit in the day of wrath, but righteousness delivers from death.
When good things increase, those who consume them increase. So what is the advantage to their owners except to look at them? When goods increase, those who eat them are increased; and what advantage is there to its owner, except to feast on them with his eyes?

Instruct those who are rich in this present world not to be conceited or to set their hope on the uncertainty of riches, but on God, who richly supplies us with all things to enjoy.Charge those who are rich in this present age that they not be arrogant, nor have their hope set on the uncertainty of riches, but on the living God, who richly provides us with everything to enjoy.
