Bible Verses about 'Weary'
- I will refresh the weary and satisfy the faint.
- Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.
- Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.
- But those who hope in the Lord
will renew their strength.
They will soar on wings like eagles;
they will run and not grow weary,
they will walk and not be faint. - He gives strength to the weary
and increases the power of the weak. - Do you not know?
Have you not heard?
The Lord is the everlasting God,
the Creator of the ends of the earth.
He will not grow tired or weary,
and his understanding no one can fathom. - Do not wear yourself out to get rich;
do not trust your own cleverness. - You, God, are my God,
earnestly I seek you;
I thirst for you,
my whole being longs for you,
in a dry and parched land
where there is no water. - My son, do not despise the Lord’s discipline,
and do not resent his rebuke,
because the Lord disciplines those he loves,
as a father the son he delights in. - I spread out my hands to you;
I thirst for you like a parched land.
For the flesh desires what is contrary to the Spirit, and the Spirit what is contrary to the flesh. They are in conflict with each other, so that you are not to do whatever you want. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.Next verse!With image
