| Now, Israel, what does Yahweh your God require of you, but to fear Yahweh your God, to walk in all his ways, to love him, and to serve Yahweh your God with all your heart and with all your soul, to keep Yahweh’s commandments and statutes, which I command you today for your good? | So now, O Israel, what does the Lord your God require of you? | So then, as we have opportunity, let’s do what is good toward all men, and especially toward those who are of the household of the faith. | So then, whenever we have an opportunity, let us work for the good of all, and especially for those of the family of faith. |
| Watch yourselves, that we don’t lose the things which we have accomplished, but that we receive a full reward. | Be on your guard, so that you do not lose what we have worked for, but may receive a full reward. |

| So faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God. | So faith comes from what is heard, and what is heard comes through the word of Christ. |
| But he who does the truth comes to the light, that his works may be revealed, that they have been done in God. | But those who do what is true come to the light, so that it may be clearly seen that their deeds have been done in God. |
