Bible Verses about 'What'

Love must be sincere. Hate what is evil; cling to what is good.Let love be genuine; hate what is evil, hold fast to what is good.
He has shown you, O mortal, what is good. And what does the Lord require of you? To act justly and to love mercy and to walk humbly with your God.He has told you, O mortal, what is good; and what does the Lord require of you but to do justice, and to love kindness, and to walk humbly with your God?
“Abba, Father,” he said, “everything is possible for you. Take this cup from me. Yet not what I will, but what you will.”Abba, Father, for you all things are possible; remove this cup from me; yet, not what I want, but what you want.
What good will it be for someone to gain the whole world, yet forfeit their soul? Or what can anyone give in exchange for their soul? For what will it profit them if they gain the whole world but forfeit their life? Or what will they give in return for their life?
The Lord is with me; I will not be afraid. What can mere mortals do to me?With the Lord on my side I do not fear. What can mortals do to me?
What is mankind that you are mindful of them, human beings that you care for them? What are human beings that you are mindful of them, mortals that you care for them?
The lips of the righteous know what finds favor, but the mouth of the wicked only what is perverse. The lips of the righteous know what is acceptable, but the mouth of the wicked what is perverse.
Then what if you see the Son of Man ascend to where he was before! Then what if you were to see the Son of Man ascending to where he was before?
For if the willingness is there, the gift is acceptable according to what one has, not according to what one does not have. For if the eagerness is there, the gift is acceptable according to what one has—not according to what one does not have.
Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or drink; or about your body, what you will wear. Is not life more than food, and the body more than clothes? Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or what you will drink, or about your body, what you will wear. Is not life more than food, and the body more than clothing?
What good is it for someone to gain the whole world, yet forfeit their soul? For what will it profit them to gain the whole world and forfeit their life?
Do not worry about your life, what you will eat; or about your body, what you will wear. For life is more than food, and the body more than clothes.Do not worry about your life, what you will eat, or about your body, what you will wear. For life is more than food, and the body more than clothing.
Therefore keep watch, because you do not know on what day your Lord will come.Keep awake therefore, for you do not know on what day your Lord is coming.
Do not be yoked together with unbelievers. For what do righteousness and wickedness have in common? Or what fellowship can light have with darkness?Do not be mismatched with unbelievers. For what partnership is there between righteousness and lawlessness? Or what fellowship is there between light and darkness?
What, then, shall we say in response to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us?What then are we to say about these things? If God is for us, who is against us?
So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen, since what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal.Because we look not at what can be seen but at what cannot be seen; for what can be seen is temporary, but what cannot be seen is eternal.
In God, whose word I praise— in God I trust and am not afraid. What can mere mortals do to me?In God, whose word I praise, in God I trust; I am not afraid; what can flesh do to me?
What then? Shall we sin because we are not under the law but under grace? By no means! What then? Should we sin because we are not under law but under grace? By no means!
So we say with confidence, “The Lord is my helper; I will not be afraid. What can mere mortals do to me?”So we can say with confidence, “The Lord is my helper; I will not be afraid. What can anyone do to me?”
He reveals deep and hidden things; he knows what lies in darkness, and light dwells with him.He reveals deep and hidden things; he knows what is in the darkness, and light dwells with him.
And if you do good to those who are good to you, what credit is that to you? Even sinners do that.If you do good to those who do good to you, what credit is that to you? For even sinners do the same.
Jesus said, “Father, forgive them, for they do not know what they are doing.” And they divided up his clothes by casting lots. Then Jesus said, “Father, forgive them; for they do not know what they are doing.” And they cast lots to divide his clothing.
What shall we say, then? Is the law sinful? Certainly not! Nevertheless, I would not have known what sin was had it not been for the law. For I would not have known what coveting really was if the law had not said, “You shall not covet.”What then should we say? That the law is sin? By no means! Yet, if it had not been for the law, I would not have known sin. I would not have known what it is to covet if the law had not said, “You shall not covet.”
However, as it is written: “What no eye has seen, what no ear has heard, and what no human mind has conceived”— the things God has prepared for those who love him. But, as it is written, “What no eye has seen, nor ear heard, nor the human heart conceived, what God has prepared for those who love him”
Jesus replied, “What is impossible with man is possible with God.”He replied, “What is impossible for mortals is possible for God.”
