Bible Verses about 'What'

Love must be sincere. Hate what is evil; cling to what is good.Let love be without hypocrisy. Abhor what is evil. Cling to what is good.
He has shown you, O mortal, what is good. And what does the Lord require of you? To act justly and to love mercy and to walk humbly with your God.He has shown you, O man, what is good; And what does the Lord require of you But to do justly, To love mercy, And to walk humbly with your God?
“Abba, Father,” he said, “everything is possible for you. Take this cup from me. Yet not what I will, but what you will.”Abba, Father, all things are possible for You. Take this cup away from Me; nevertheless, not what I will, but what You will.
What good will it be for someone to gain the whole world, yet forfeit their soul? Or what can anyone give in exchange for their soul? For what profit is it to a man if he gains the whole world, and loses his own soul? Or what will a man give in exchange for his soul?
The Lord is with me; I will not be afraid. What can mere mortals do to me?The Lord is on my side; I will not fear. What can man do to me?
What is mankind that you are mindful of them, human beings that you care for them? What is man that You are mindful of him, And the son of man that You visit him?
The lips of the righteous know what finds favor, but the mouth of the wicked only what is perverse. The lips of the righteous know what is acceptable, But the mouth of the wicked what is perverse.
Then what if you see the Son of Man ascend to where he was before! What then if you should see the Son of Man ascend where He was before?
For if the willingness is there, the gift is acceptable according to what one has, not according to what one does not have. For if there is first a willing mind, it is accepted according to what one has, and not according to what he does not have.
Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or drink; or about your body, what you will wear. Is not life more than food, and the body more than clothes? Therefore I say to you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or what you will drink; nor about your body, what you will put on. Is not life more than food and the body more than clothing?
What good is it for someone to gain the whole world, yet forfeit their soul? For what will it profit a man if he gains the whole world, and loses his own soul?
Do not worry about your life, what you will eat; or about your body, what you will wear. For life is more than food, and the body more than clothes.Do not worry about your life, what you will eat; nor about the body, what you will put on. Life is more than food, and the body is more than clothing.
Therefore keep watch, because you do not know on what day your Lord will come.Watch therefore, for you do not know what hour your Lord is coming.
Do not be yoked together with unbelievers. For what do righteousness and wickedness have in common? Or what fellowship can light have with darkness?Do not be unequally yoked together with unbelievers. For what fellowship has righteousness with lawlessness? And what communion has light with darkness?
What, then, shall we say in response to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us?What then shall we say to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us?
So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen, since what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal. While we do not look at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen. For the things which are seen are temporary, but the things which are not seen are eternal.
In God, whose word I praise— in God I trust and am not afraid. What can mere mortals do to me?In God (I will praise His word), In God I have put my trust; I will not fear. What can flesh do to me?
What then? Shall we sin because we are not under the law but under grace? By no means! What then? Shall we sin because we are not under law but under grace? Certainly not!
So we say with confidence, “The Lord is my helper; I will not be afraid. What can mere mortals do to me?”So we may boldly say: “The Lord is my helper; I will not fear. What can man do to me?”
He reveals deep and hidden things; he knows what lies in darkness, and light dwells with him.He reveals deep and secret things; He knows what is in the darkness, And light dwells with Him.
And if you do good to those who are good to you, what credit is that to you? Even sinners do that. And if you do good to those who do good to you, what credit is that to you? For even sinners do the same.
Jesus said, “Father, forgive them, for they do not know what they are doing.” And they divided up his clothes by casting lots. Then Jesus said, “Father, forgive them, for they do not know what they do.” And they divided His garments and cast lots.
What shall we say, then? Is the law sinful? Certainly not! Nevertheless, I would not have known what sin was had it not been for the law. For I would not have known what coveting really was if the law had not said, “You shall not covet.”What shall we say then? Is the law sin? Certainly not! On the contrary, I would not have known sin except through the law. For I would not have known covetousness unless the law had said, “You shall not covet.”
However, as it is written: “What no eye has seen, what no ear has heard, and what no human mind has conceived”— the things God has prepared for those who love him.But as it is written: “Eye has not seen, nor ear heard, Nor have entered into the heart of man The things which God has prepared for those who love Him.”
Jesus replied, “What is impossible with man is possible with God.”But He said, “The things which are impossible with men are possible with God.”

But if we hope for what we do not yet have, we wait for it patiently. But if we hope for what we do not see, we eagerly wait for it with perseverance.
