But now in Christ Jesus you who previously were far away have been brought near by the blood of Christ.But now in Christ Jesus, you who once were far off have been brought near through the blood of Christ.
He will not allow your foot to slip; He who watches over you will not slumber.He will not permit your foot to stumble; he who guards you will not fall asleep.
And this commandment we have from Him, that the one who loves God must also love his brother and sister.This is the commandment we have received from him: whoever loves God must also love his brother.
Instruct those who are rich in this present world not to be conceited or to set their hope on the uncertainty of riches, but on God, who richly supplies us with all things to enjoy.Instruct those who are rich in this world’s goods that they should not be proud, nor should they trust in the uncertainty of riches but rather in God who richly provides us with everything we need for our enjoyment.
For those who are in accord with the flesh set their minds on the things of the flesh, but those who are in accord with the Spirit, the things of the Spirit.Those who live according to the flesh fix their attention on the things of the flesh, while those who live according to the Spirit set their thoughts on spiritual things.
One who conceals hatred has lying lips, And one who spreads slander is a fool.Lying lips conceal hatred, and anyone who slanders another is a fool.
Truly, truly I say to you, a slave is not greater than his master, nor is one who is sent greater than the one who sent him.Amen, amen, I say to you, a servant is not greater than his master, nor is a messenger greater than the one who sent him.
Those who love Your Law have great peace, And nothing causes them to stumble.Those who love your law have great peace; they encounter no stumbling blocks.
Open your mouth for the people who cannot speak, For the rights of all the unfortunate.Speak out for those who cannot speak for themselves, and defend the rights of the destitute.
But who am I and who are my people that we should be able to offer as generously as this? For all things come from You, and from Your hand we have given to You.But who am I, and what are your people, that we should be able to do this? All things belong to you, and everything that we have given you is from your hand.
But in all these things we overwhelmingly conquer through Him who loved us.No, throughout all these things we are conquerors because of him who loved us.
That they were saying to you, “In the last time there will be mockers, following after their own ungodly lusts.” These are the ones who cause divisions, worldly-minded, devoid of the Spirit.For they said to you, “In the final age there will be scoffers who will follow their own ungodly passions.” It is these people who create divisions, who follow their natural instincts and do not possess the Spirit.
The Lord opens the eyes of those who are blind; The Lord raises up those who are bowed down; The Lord loves the righteous.And opens the eyes of those who cannot see. The Lord lifts up those who are bowed down; the Lord loves the righteous.
Then I heard the voice of the Lord, saying, “Whom shall I send, and who will go for Us?” Then I said, “Here am I. Send me!”I then heard the voice of the Lord saying, “Whom shall I send? Who will go for us?” I said, “Here I am. Send me!”
The one who has found his life will lose it, and the one who has lost his life on My account will find it.Whoever finds his life will lose it, and whoever loses his life for my sake will find it.
Everyone who practices sin also practices lawlessness; and sin is lawlessness.Everyone who sins breaks the law, for sin is lawlessness.
Every word of God is pure; He is a shield to those who take refuge in Him.Every word of God has proved to be true; he is a shield to those who trust in him.
Taste and see that the Lord is good; How blessed is the man who takes refuge in Him!Taste and see that the Lord is good; blessed is the man who takes refuge in him.
But He said, “On the contrary, blessed are those who hear the word of God and follow it.”Jesus replied, “Blessed, rather, are those who hear the word of God and obey it!”
For “Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.”Indeed, “everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.”
He made Him who knew no sin to be sin in our behalf, so that we might become the righteousness of God in Him.He made him who did not know sin to be sin for our sake, so that through him we might become the righteousness of God.
God is spirit, and those who worship Him must worship in spirit and truth.God is Spirit, and those who worship him must worship in Spirit and truth.
For by one offering He has perfected for all time those who are sanctified.Therefore, by a single offering he has made perfect forever those who are being sanctified.
The Lord redeems the souls of His servants, And none of those who take refuge in Him will suffer for their guilt.The Lord redeems the lives of those who serve him; no one will be condemned who takes refuge in him.
Indeed, all who want to live in a godly way in Christ Jesus will be persecuted.Indeed, persecution will afflict all who want to lead a godly life in Christ Jesus.
