But “he who glories, let him glory in the Lord.” For not he who commends himself is approved, but whom the Lord commends.But he that glorieth, let him glory in the Lord. For not he that commendeth himself is approved, but whom the Lord commendeth.
For the message of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God.For the preaching of the cross is to them that perish foolishness; but unto us which are saved it is the power of God.
Deceit is in the heart of those who devise evil, But counselors of peace have joy.Deceit is in the heart of them that imagine evil: but to the counsellors of peace is joy.
Also I heard the voice of the Lord, saying: “Whom shall I send, And who will go for Us?” Then I said, “Here am I! Send me.”Also I heard the voice of the Lord, saying, Whom shall I send, and who will go for us? Then said I, Here am I; send me.
Command those who are rich in this present age not to be haughty, nor to trust in uncertain riches but in the living God, who gives us richly all things to enjoy.Charge them that are rich in this world, that they be not highminded, nor trust in uncertain riches, but in the living God, who giveth us richly all things to enjoy.
For He made Him who knew no sin to be sin for us, that we might become the righteousness of God in Him.For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him.
I have been crucified with Christ; it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me; and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself for me.I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me.
But who am I, and who are my people, That we should be able to offer so willingly as this? For all things come from You, And of Your own we have given You.But who am I, and what is my people, that we should be able to offer so willingly after this sort? for all things come of thee, and of thine own have we given thee.
And do not fear those who kill the body but cannot kill the soul. But rather fear Him who is able to destroy both soul and body in hell.And fear not them which kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul: but rather fear him which is able to destroy both soul and body in hell.
He who covers a transgression seeks love, But he who repeats a matter separates friends.He that covereth a transgression seeketh love; but he that repeateth a matter separateth very friends.
But if the Spirit of Him who raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you, He who raised Christ from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies through His Spirit who dwells in you.But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwelleth in you.
He who heeds the word wisely will find good, And whoever trusts in the Lord, happy is he.He that handleth a matter wisely shall find good: and whoso trusteth in the Lord, happy is he.
Who has performed and done it, Calling the generations from the beginning? ‘I, the Lord, am the first; And with the last I am He.’Who hath wrought and done it, calling the generations from the beginning? I the Lord, the first, and with the last; I am he.
He who keeps instruction is in the way of life, But he who refuses correction goes astray.He is in the way of life that keepeth instruction: but he that refuseth reproof erreth.
Therefore whoever hears these sayings of Mine, and does them, I will liken him to a wise man who built his house on the rock.Therefore whosoever heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them, I will liken him unto a wise man, which built his house upon a rock.
He who keeps the commandment keeps his soul, But he who is careless of his ways will die.He that keepeth the commandment keepeth his own soul; but he that despiseth his ways shall die.
But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, to those who believe in His name.But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name.
Because I delivered the poor who cried out, The fatherless and the one who had no helper. The blessing of a perishing man came upon me, And I caused the widow’s heart to sing for joy.Because I delivered the poor that cried, and the fatherless, and him that had none to help him. The blessing of him that was ready to perish came upon me: and I caused the widow's heart to sing for joy.
He who is slow to wrath has great understanding, But he who is impulsive exalts folly.He that is slow to wrath is of great understanding: but he that is hasty of spirit exalteth folly.
I say to you that likewise there will be more joy in heaven over one sinner who repents than over ninety-nine just persons who need no repentance.I say unto you, that likewise joy shall be in heaven over one sinner that repenteth, more than over ninety and nine just persons, which need no repentance.
Open your mouth for the speechless, In the cause of all who are appointed to die.Open thy mouth for the dumb in the cause of all such as are appointed to destruction.
Be of good courage, And He shall strengthen your heart, All you who hope in the Lord.Be of good courage, and he shall strengthen your heart, all ye that hope in the Lord.
Now the fruit of righteousness is sown in peace by those who make peace.And the fruit of righteousness is sown in peace of them that make peace.
He who believes and is baptized will be saved; but he who does not believe will be condemned.He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned.
Who gave Himself for us, that He might redeem us from every lawless deed and purify for Himself His own special people, zealous for good works.Who gave himself for us, that he might redeem us from all iniquity, and purify unto himself a peculiar people, zealous of good works.

Who is wise and understanding among you? Let him show by good conduct that his works are done in the meekness of wisdom.Who is a wise man and endued with knowledge among you? let him shew out of a good conversation his works with meekness of wisdom.
