| But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, to those who believe in His name. | But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name. |

| But who am I, and who are my people, That we should be able to offer so willingly as this? | He who keeps instruction is in the way of life, But he who refuses correction goes astray. | He is in the way of life that keepeth instruction: but he that refuseth reproof erreth. |
| Be of good courage, And He shall strengthen your heart, All you who hope in the Lord. | Be of good courage, and he shall strengthen your heart, all ye that hope in the Lord. |

| He will not allow your foot to be moved; He who keeps you will not slumber. | He will not suffer thy foot to be moved: he that keepeth thee will not slumber. |
| Blessed is the man who endures temptation; for when he has been approved, he will receive the crown of life which the Lord has promised to those who love Him. | Blessed is the man that endureth temptation: for when he is tried, he shall receive the crown of life, which the Lord hath promised to them that love him. |
