- And the world passeth away, and the lust thereof: but he that doeth the will of God abideth for ever.
- Whosoever committeth sin transgresseth also the law: for sin is the transgression of the law.
- Whoso findeth a wife findeth a good thing,
and obtaineth favour of the Lord. - He that covereth a transgression seeketh love;
but he that repeateth a matter separateth very friends. - Then spake Jesus again unto them, saying, I am the light of the world: he that followeth me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life.
- Forasmuch then as Christ hath suffered for us in the flesh, arm yourselves likewise with the same mind: for he that hath suffered in the flesh hath ceased from sin.
- There is no fear in love; but perfect love casteth out fear: because fear hath torment. He that feareth is not made perfect in love.
- But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.
- I am the living bread which came down from heaven: if any man eat of this bread, he shall live for ever: and the bread that I will give is my flesh, which I will give for the life of the world.

- But he that doeth truth cometh to the light, that his deeds may be made manifest, that they are wrought in God.
- The liberal soul shall be made fat:
and he that watereth shall be watered also himself. - And this commandment have we from him, That he who loveth God love his brother also.
- And we have known and believed the love that God hath to us. God is love; and he that dwelleth in love dwelleth in God, and God in him.
- He that hath no rule over his own spirit
is like a city that is broken down, and without walls. - He that getteth wisdom loveth his own soul:
he that keepeth understanding shall find good. - But if any provide not for his own, and specially for those of his own house, he hath denied the faith, and is worse than an infidel.
- The father of the righteous shall greatly rejoice:
and he that begetteth a wise child shall have joy of him. - Wealth gotten by vanity shall be diminished:
but he that gathereth by labour shall increase. - In the multitude of words there wanteth not sin:
but he that refraineth his lips is wise. - To him give all the prophets witness, that through his name whosoever believeth in him shall receive remission of sins.
- If a man say, I love God, and hateth his brother, he is a liar: for he that loveth not his brother whom he hath seen, how can he love God whom he hath not seen?
- But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved.
- He that hath my commandments, and keepeth them, he it is that loveth me: and he that loveth me shall be loved of my Father, and I will love him, and will manifest myself to him.
- Therefore whosoever heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them, I will liken him unto a wise man, which built his house upon a rock.
He that loveth silver shall not be satisfied with silver; nor he that loveth abundance with increase: this is also vanity.Bear ye one another's burdens, and so fulfil the law of Christ. He that covereth his sins shall not prosper:
but whoso confesseth and forsaketh them shall have mercy.Next verse! With image
