He who is slow to anger has great understanding, but he who has a quick temper displays folly.Whoever is slow to anger has great understanding, but he who has a hasty temper exalts folly.

The world is passing away with its lusts, but he who does God’s will remains forever.And the world is passing away along with its desires, but whoever does the will of God abides forever.
But he who endures to the end will be saved.But the one who endures to the end will be saved.
For whatever is born of God overcomes the world. This is the victory that has overcome the world: your faith.For everyone who has been born of God overcomes the world. And this is the victory that has overcome the world—our faith.
Without faith it is impossible to be well pleasing to him, for he who comes to God must believe that he exists, and that he is a rewarder of those who seek him.And without faith it is impossible to please him, for whoever would draw near to God must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who seek him.
There is no fear in love; but perfect love casts out fear, because fear has punishment. He who fears is not made perfect in love.There is no fear in love, but perfect love casts out fear. For fear has to do with punishment, and whoever fears has not been perfected in love.
He who gets wisdom loves his own soul. He who keeps understanding shall find good.Whoever gets sense loves his own soul; he who keeps understanding will discover good.
This commandment we have from him, that he who loves God should also love his brother.And this commandment we have from him: whoever loves God must also love his brother.
I am the living bread which came down out of heaven. If anyone eats of this bread, he will live forever. But he who does the truth comes to the light, that his works may be revealed, that they have been done in God.But whoever does what is true comes to the light, so that it may be clearly seen that his works have been carried out in God.
In the multitude of words there is no lack of disobedience, but he who restrains his lips does wisely.When words are many, transgression is not lacking, but whoever restrains his lips is prudent.

The liberal soul shall be made fat. He who waters shall be watered also himself.Whoever brings blessing will be enriched, and one who waters will himself be watered.

Like a city that is broken down and without walls is a man whose spirit is without restraint.A man without self-control is like a city broken into and left without walls.
