- But you, O man of God, flee these things and pursue righteousness, godliness, faith, love, patience, gentleness.
- Out of the same mouth proceed blessing and cursing. My brethren, these things ought not to be so.
- I, even I, am He who comforts you.
Who are you that you should be afraid
Of a man who will die,
And of the son of a man who will be made like grass? - He who did not spare His own Son, but delivered Him up for us all, how shall He not with Him also freely give us all things?
- Beloved, if our heart does not condemn us, we have confidence toward God. And whatever we ask we receive from Him, because we keep His commandments and do those things that are pleasing in His sight.
- But He said, “The things which are impossible with men are possible with God.”
- Who is wise?
Let him understand these things.
Who is prudent?
Let him know them.
For the ways of the Lord are right;
The righteous walk in them,
But transgressors stumble in them. - But who am I, and who are my people,
That we should be able to offer so willingly as this?
For all things come from You,
And of Your own we have given You. - Now the multitude of those who believed were of one heart and one soul; neither did anyone say that any of the things he possessed was his own, but they had all things in common.
- But above all these things put on love, which is the bond of perfection.
- But, speaking the truth in love, may grow up in all things into Him who is the head—Christ.
- Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about its own things. Sufficient for the day is its own trouble.
- But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control. Against such there is no law.
