- Conduct yourselves with wisdom toward outsiders, making the most of the opportunity. Your speech must always be with grace, as though seasoned with salt, so that you will know how you should respond to each person.
- He will cover you with His pinions,

His faithfulness is a shield and wall. - You have heard that it was said, ‘You shall not commit adultery’; but I say to you that everyone who looks at a woman with lust for her has already committed adultery with her in his heart.

- For the customs of the peoples are futile;
For it is wood cut from the forest,
The work of the hands of a craftsman with a cutting tool.
They decorate the idol with silver and gold;
They fasten it with nails and hammers
So that it will not totter.
They are like a scarecrow in a cucumber field,
And they cannot speak;
They must be carried,
Because they cannot walk!
Do not fear them,
For they can do no harm,
Nor can they do any good. - I will instruct you and teach you in the way which you should go;
I will advise you with My eye upon you. - Finally, brothers and sisters, rejoice, mend your ways, be comforted, be like-minded, live in peace; and the God of love and peace will be with you.
- Preach the word; be ready in season and out of season; correct, rebuke, and exhort, with great patience and instruction.
- The Lord is my strength and my shield;
My heart trusts in Him, and I am helped;
Therefore my heart triumphs,
And with my song I shall thank Him. - The Lord will send His goodness in the daytime;
And His song will be with me in the night,
A prayer to the God of my life. - As for the things you have learned and received and heard and seen in me, practice these things, and the God of peace will be with you.
